12 days from me writing this, the general election will
be in full swing. Myself, and I hope each and every person reading this will
cast their vote for the next President of the United States. For regular old
fashion conservatives like me, the choice is clear as to which candidate to
vote for. For those new to the conservative world, thanks is great part by the
actions of the current administration, realize we cannot and must not remain on
the path we are currently going down, so too the choice is clear.
What I doubt will happen, but is possible, those
grassroots conservatives (Tea Party) who are unhappy with the choice of the GOP
candidate, may decide to stay home because not voting for Romney may override
their passion to oust Barack Obama. All those I know that are conservative by
nature but are unhappy with Romney as a candidate, I have tried my best to
persuade them to go and cast their votes. Unfortunately, I fear my daughter and
her boyfriend still feel as though it’s not worth their time to vote though
they both have felt Obama’s worsening economy hit their household.
Romney may be in the lead but with 12 days to go anything
can happen. We all know Obama doesn’t play by the unofficial conventional rules
as all have played by for centuries. In 2007-2008 and even more so in 2012, we
have witnessed the most disgusting, mean spirited campaigns waged against
Hillary Clinton and Mitt Romney. Lies after lies have been told by Obama and
his campaign and administrative staffs for 5 years now. Almost all those lies
have been hailed as truth by many in the mainstream media. Lies that have
millions of seniors believing the GOP wants to end their Medicare and Social
Security. Lies that have millions of young adults (and those soon to be young
adults) believing the federal government is the answer for everything and to
move America forward, even more power must be taken away from the states and
the population as a while for the betterment of the country and create one
If this race was taking place not in 2012 but in 1972,
Obama would lose this election worse than George McGovern did. If this race was
taking place in 1984 instead of today, Obama would lose and likely not even win
that one lone state like Michael Dukakis did. McGovern was a good and honorable
man when he was alive and Dukakis still is a good and honorable man. They
didn’t lose because of who they were; they lost because of their ideas for the
future of America. If Obama wins this election, it’s not because of his vision
for America. If Obama wins, it’s because there are not enough independent, free
thinking Americans left who have not made up their minds to realize America
can’t afford 4 more years of Obama.
Talk to your kids. If you can convince them that Romney
is the better choice, Romney will stand a good chance of becoming our 45th
President and we won’t have to wait until 2016 see #45. If you can convince
your kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews that Romney is a better choice for
America, each one of them stand a good chance of convincing another young adult
not to vote for Obama, but vote for their own futures. Those disgruntled
grassroots conservatives too may be persuaded to vote by you or perhaps your
kids and grandkids. Anything is possible.
12 days until the election. I still don’t feel secure in
a Romney victory and neither should any of you.
Fifties something guy, with a political view, but not in your face with it. Don't ask my opinion about politics if you don't want it, but I don't start conversations about it when meeting you for the first time. I have so many interests, that I don't pigeon hole into one catagory. I have written a book, and been published, it's about the care I gave my parents in their last years, it's a story of love, care, and dedication.
“Even sadder that so many of us are so blind and stupid, just living our lives daily and letting "smarter" people 'run' our lives."
"Thank God for people like you.”
“This is so horrible....how can one be so advanced and so naive at the same time..”
“Well if you were a politician, you would have my vote. I have a great deal of respect for intelligence...especially when I agree with most of your thoughts, almost visions."
"So many things 'we' stood for are getting lost and no one seems to be taking notice.”
"Your ideas, and thoughts are well researched, great job!"
"I really felt like you are really ‘in tune’ to what is really happening…so I ‘depend’ on your wisdom.. "
"Thanks for sharing all your findings Al. You have been such a big help with my decision. I knew in my heart that McCain should be our leader, but you sure made me all the more convinced…and the people I have forwarded your emails to feel the same way, I’m sure. I still think you ought to ‘run’ for an office, open some eyes around here"
I just want to thank you for being such a great American. I have always been interested in politics but now that I have a son, I really am quite interested. And to be honest, I really feel for him and what he is going to have to put up with in the future. My one saving grace is the fact that when I was his age we also had an awful President in office and fortunately the Great Ronald Reagan came riding in on his horse to save us. Hopefully in 2012 someone will come swooping in and save us. I appreciate the posts that you put on letting the world know of the crimes that most of the press won't let the world see. Well I am just in one of those moods tonight and I am rambling on but I just wanted to thank you. I would always love to get more involved in politics and if there is ever a place that you think I could come in and help please don't hesitate to ask.

My Personal Beliefs ( so you know where I'm coming from)
I believe, that the United States of America is the best country in the world bar none.
I believe, the founding fathers wrote the Constitution of our country based on their belief in Christianity, and encouraged the practice of all religions but not at the expense of the others.
I believe, the Supreme Court should interpret the Constitution and not legislate from the bench.
I believe, the Constitution is a legal document, and not a living document subjected to constant change.
I believe, the course to peace is based on strong military, strong principles, and not a pacifist denial approach.
I believe, the second amendment is the right of every citizen in our country, and people not guns are the cause of murder.
I believe, in the death penalty as a form of public compliance to our laws.
I believe, a declared “hate crime” should not just be limited to describe the victimization of one race, or religion, but should be applied equally.
I believe, taxes are necessary to run our country and benefit our citizens, and not to give to foreign governments to “buy” friendships.
I believe, the government should have no right to tax a dead man’s estate on money he has already paid taxes on.
I believe, the President should have the power of the Line Item Veto.
I believe, that Senator’s and Congressmen should have term limits the same as the other elected officials.
I believe, that Senators and Congressmen should eliminate the word “entitlements” from their vocabulary.
I believe, that taxation in our country is disproportionate according to annual salaries, and serves to polarize citizens within the system.
I believe, “Affirmative Action” is neither affirmative nor action, and should be eliminated, as it’s just another form of prejudice.
I believe, that “pork barrel” or “earmarks” should be eliminated, as they are detrimental to budgetary constraints of our country.
I believe, in a balanced budget amendment with the exception of a declaration of war.
I believe, that if it’s so easy to raise hundreds of millions of dollars for a Presidential Position that pays $400K a year, then the amount raised should be taxed.
I believe, in governing our own country, and never handing power of a New World Order to the United Nations for any treaty.
I believe, to insure the safety of our citizens, we need to secure our borders and enforce existing immigration, and hiring laws.
I believe, that English should be formally declared our official language, and should be used in business dealings at home, and English should be taught in school systems to mainstream students.
I believe, that immigrants to our country should be made to assimilate to our culture, and not the other way around.
I believe, global warming is a reality, but to declare that man made emissions are the main cause, based primarily on computer based models, is akin to believing that weathermen can predict next week’s weather based on a “preponderance of evidence.”
There is one areas I don't agree with the official Republican Platform:
I believe in Gay, and Lesbian Rights
I do not believe in same sex marriage though
I want to welcome everyone to my blog site. Everything you see is my opinion only. As we all know some sources are better then others, and when I see them as questionable, or open for conjecture, I back them up with another source. However, unfortunately, sometimes even these sources can be wrong, and if that is the case, I apologize. When researching a subject, my aim is to find the truth, and the facts and links to back it up. I don't take a position lightly, I research first and form an opinion from the collection of facts. I hope you enjoy the fruits of my research, because not everyone can devote the time to do this.......... because this work represents hours of time invested, if you copy and paste an article please insert a link back to my blog. Thanks again
