Closing In on Milestones!

Closing In on Milestones!
Al Ritter

Well folks, like Kevin said in his last article, we are closing out yet another at Al’s political view, and I thought I’d share with you a little insight to the website. In March we will mark our 6th year! that’s not the real picture though!

I started in 2008 because of Al Gore and his attack on the American people in the way of carbon foot print taxes. Fortunately we have sidestepped his attack and even the UN has lost their credibility on the issue, hopefully Obama’s push on Man-made Global warming will fall flat on its face too.

After starting my own blog in 2008 I also started writing for examiner.com in 2009. After I year they attempted to censor me and shortly after I stopped my association with them. Oddly enough my resignation article from the Examiner has been one of my most popular articles. Between both writing venues I have published over 1500 articles in the 6 years.

Verizon is my server and some people have requested that I place links to my individual articles, and although that would be nice, Verizon in their infinite wisdom views that as spam and kicks out any article with links. With that being said let’s give this another try als political view dot blog spot dot com is the website just delete all the spaces and add the dots where needed….lol.

Now let me give you a rundown on our history and readership. Of course the good ol’ USA is our biggest readership, but the next countries in line may surprise you. I recently added a language translator to the site to make it easier for our fans to read our opinions. Second place in the countries that read our blog is Russia, followed by Germany, France, Poland, United Kingdom, Netherlands, and the Ukraine.

With these articles comes a huge responsibility to report facts and not just opinions so I have always prided myself and my fellow writers with presenting those facts in easy to read and concise articles.

Now onto the most popular articles in first place was an article entitled “Obama wants to microchip everyone like a dog!” followed by “To those considering writing for the Examiner.com, read this first!” then “Differences in a Republic and Democracy According to Madison” then “Who are we at War with Mr. President?” then rounding out the top 5 “Ron Investigates the Idea of Taxes – An Oppressive Factor.”

Now onto our viewer’s operating systems, I found this interesting……not #1 of course which is Windows @ 81% followed by Linux @ 5% then Macintosh @ 5%, then iPhone @ 2% and iPad @ 1% all others were less than 1%. The top browsers in order were Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, and Opera.

Our traffic sources vary from time to time, mainly because of all our RSS feeds. Recently I left Facebook because of privacy issues and Mark Zuckerberg’s need to hand over my personal information to the Obama administration without so much as a warrant. I have however moved over to the Tea Party Community and would invite anyone to join me.

I want to thank my co-writers Kevin Bryant, William (Grant) Burmer, and Ron Boat, their writing has been superb! I‘d be the first to admit I couldn’t do it without them! Hopefully 2014 will be a turning point for our country, I’d love to see the Republican’s take a few more seats in the Senate and the House.

I want to thank all of our readers the most, because without ears, a mouth can’t survive on it own!

Cheers!.......see ya all in 2014!

Closing The Books On 2013

Closing The Books On 2013
Kevin Bryant

WOW, what a year 2013 was. Thanks to Eric Snowden, we have discovered just how much our government has been spying on its citizens and to what extent they have been spying on our allies. We have discovered just how politically left Pope Francis is. We have the seen the beginning implementations of Obamacare and gotten a glimpse into just how messed up the law really is. We have witnessed a steady stream of lies committed by President Obama and his administration to congress and the people of this great nation. We have witnessed the greatest demoralization of our military by a single Commander –in- Chief than the first 43 CiC’s combined, and I thought Clinton was bad when I served.

Yes, 2013 will go into the record books as another failed year for our government and our nation despite all the great things we have witnessed over the past year by the average citizens of this country. The war between the private sector and the government resembles a country line dance only the line (private sector America), after taking two steps forward, they are forced to take three steps back and they are about out of dance floor. I just hope the private sector doesn’t run out of dance floor before January 23, 2017.

We have seen record numbers of illegals coming into the country despite the DHS’s attempt to minimize the real number. We have also seen record numbers of Americans packing up and moving out of this country because America is no longer the world leader for freedoms and liberty. If it were a viable option, I would have joined them. Yes, 2013 was my breaking point in having faith in America and our way of life. BUT……….

November and December 2013 has been a little different in the way I view America and her future. Sure, we still have more government corruption now than during the Lyndon Johnson, Richard Nixon era. We still have a nation divided along every line imaginable thanks to our Divider-in-Chief, but these past few weeks mainstream America has pushed back. In record numbers, younger Americans have come to the realization that we cannot continue to borrow and spend. We cannot allow our government to dictate how we think. We cannot allow our government to attempt to rewrite the constitution by enacting laws and executive orders contrary to our own beliefs and our the wellbeing of our nation.

Younger America is starting to get it. Younger America feels the pain of 16% REAL unemployment. They feel the crunch of 12% REAL inflation. They understand now what the future holds for them if we continue to add trillions every year to the national debt. They have come to the realization that the politicians of the past 4 generations have really screwed them financially which in turn screws America financially and it is Younger America wanting to discuss REAL solutions to our national problems.

In 2014 and 2016 there are no charismatic and electrifying politicians like Obama and Bill Clinton to draw the “Uninformed Voter” to the polls. Oh, I know we will have massive voter fraud favoring democrats in both elections but I for one an optimistic about all the illegal votes being cast being not being enough to get past the hurdle of the “had enough” Younger America vote. Will 2014 bring forth a shift of power in Washington DC, no. The GOP/TEA PARTY will likely only pick up 3 seats in the senate but it will serve as notice to those who have supported the president at all cost whose seats are up in 2016. I am optimistic that Obama will become the very definition of a “lame duck” president in his last 2 years.

The past few months we have also witnessed a shift in the judicial rulings. A once cocky and confident Obama administration has been met with a growing number of judicial rulings against this administration as well as some against the actions of the president himself. These have not been just Bush 41 & 43 appointed judges, but more of the Clinton appointed judges are starting to make rulings based more on the law and less on personal political opinion.

Overall, 2013 was a bust, just as 2012 & 2011. We still have the McCain RINO faction in the senate and the Boehner RINO faction in the house but I believe we will see their power diminish in 2014 as Younger America gets involved and work to elect real congressional conservatives to office.

Did I Offend You?

Did I Offend You?
Kevin Bryant

Are you offended by the saying “Merry Christmas”? Does the name “Washington Redskins” irritate you? Are you like the MSNBC commentator and get upset when you hear the term “Obamacare’ because you think it is racist? Do you get mad when your child is not picked for a team during recess? Are you outraged over organized youth athletic groups that do not give out participation awards to everyone and actually allow teams to win and lose? Guess what. I DON’T CARE.

If your child can’t do grade level work in school, it’s not the job of the school district to lower the standards just because you have a slower learning child. What is worse, holding a child back a year in school to allow them the opportunity to actually learn or just pass them along and ensure when they get out of school they only qualify to work at a fast food franchise.

Southerners fly the confederate flag; they place them on their vehicles, in their home windows and even paint them on almost everything. Contrary to the masses out there that does not know American history, the confederate flag in NOT a racist symbol. It has absolutely nothing to do with skin color. It’s all about State’s Rights, Individual Freedoms and Southern Pride. It’s difficult for those raised in rust belt or the New England states or even those out west to understand Southern Pride. I’m not going to try and explain it because those from the south already know what it is and those not from the south lack the comprehension to fully grasp the fact that it is a way of life that we are born and bred into.

And since it is the Christmas season, what gives atheist the right to be offended by the idea of Christmas Trees, Christmas Carols, Nativity Scenes and the traditional Merry Christmas greeting. What happened to my right of expression? What happened to idea of a city council majority rule? Do you really know who is offended by all this? We The People are offended. We The People are being trampled by certain minority organizations who believe they are right, whether it’s about Christianity, Child Raising, Offensive Scenery or Statements.

I’m sick and tired of Christian bashing, Freedom of Speech bashing, Freedom of Expression bashing, Gun Owner bashing, State’s Right bashing, bashing and labeling me a racist just because I am white and from the south. I have had it. I give hypocrites as much crap and grief as they give me. An atheist told me my Christian views were based on a need of dependency, I told him to enjoy burning in hell. People think is it wrong of me to own firearms because they kill people but will not allow me to place a sign in their yard declaring it a gun free zone. Whiners, Criers & Hypocrites….. I am sick of them all and if my beliefs and treating them equal to how they treat me offend them…… I DON’T CARE.

Dear Patriots:

Dear Patriots:
William G Burmer
I love the old Turner Classic Movies. Yesterday I watched Jimmy Stewart as "Meet John Doe." A story for our time if ever there were one. A story about all the John Doe's (today it would be the "Tea Party" folks) united to support and help one another get off the dole and be valued as voters who would change party politics and restore Constitutional Principle.
In the end it actually worked in the movie version. Today it really is up to us to restore the Constitution and bring power back to the People to whom it actually belongs. I'm an idealist, I will admit, but with a large dose of optimism in my heart and soul, I know we can succeed. It is perfectly obvious to the rank and file Tea Party person that things are terribly out of whack in Washington DC. We need to start firing a whole lot of politicians and supporting people like Ted Cruz, Rand Paul and others like them.
The communist politicians currently reigning tyranny in the House and Senate need to be replaced and we are the key to seeing to it that it happens during 2014 AND 2016.
Obama is indeed the worst thing that has ever happened to our country. I don't care what his supporters might throw back at us such as being racist. It is a tired worn out old tactic that simply flies in the face of reason and fact. Personally I would not care what color the president is, there are plenty of good, honorable African-Americans I would readily support other than him. The most important ingredient missing at the moment in time is someone who loves America, all of its heritage and sacred principles of law which have drawn, and even now, in the worst of circumstances, continues to draw people from around the world to our shores. Why?, because of our traditions, hope remains.
America and its people are good, they love their country, they love God, and they will not allow anyone or anything to take their liberty away. They know with an abiding faith that God is on their side. Our founders proved it so, testified to it, and died for it. We can do no less.
Our society is not held together primarily by law and its enforcement, but most importantly by those (you and I) who voluntarily obey the unenforceable, those norms internalized by Godly behavior. Religious belief in right and wrong is our influence, that which produces voluntary compliance by most of Americas citizens.
Our victories no matter how small or great depend upon our individual commitment to love God and obey his laws. George Washington spoke of this reality when he said, "Of all the dispositions and habits which lead to political prosperity, religion and morality are indispensable supports,' Reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle."
I say, Amen.

Obamacare Stealing Money from Your Bank Account!

Obamacare Stealing Money from Your Bank Account!
Al Ritter

Does it matter if the theft comes from State or Federal Government? Washington State Obamacare Exchange has now been accused of double billing, removal of funds before approved dates, all before Christmas!

It doesn’t really matter if it is a State run exchange or a Federal website, the fact remains that all these exchanges are a direct result of the “Affordable Care Act.” Even President Obama has now chosen to distance himself from the rapidly disintegrating healthcare act that his Administration itself had constructed. He no longer wants his name attached to it.

On another note Politifact.com a well-known left leaning fact checking site has now declared Obama’s claim to sell his Affordable Care Act…. “if you like your plan, you can keep your plan” as 2013’s biggest lie!

Foolishness of the War in Afghanistan

Foolishness of the War in Afghanistan
Al Ritter

It seems funny and ironic all at once that we are fighting the longest war in US History, and yet nobody seems to be up in arms about the cost in dollars or human life anymore. Being in a foreign land fighting Islamic fundamentalists seems to be ok now that there is a Democratic President and Senate.

In 1980 things were very different; we had just elected Ronald Reagan to replace a kowtowing Jimmy Carter. Carter was certainly no stranger to Islamic regimes he was held victim to Iran for over 300 days of hostage taking by the religious regime of Iran. It was only through fear and respect for Ronald Reagan that those hostages were released the very day of his inauguration.

Although Reagan was in favor of a stronger military and knew of the dangers of increasing radicalization by Muslim countries, he also knew of the dangers of communism. He saw the invasion of Afghanistan in 1979 by the USSR. He was against such strong arm tactics and as a result USA boycotted the 1980 Summer Olympics because of this invasion. The Reagan Administration quietly commented about the USSR’s invasion as being their version of Vietnam.

Eventually unable to acquire a clear set victory because of guerilla warfare tactics the Russians pulled out of Afghanistan in 1989 ending their 10 war with no clear victor.

The attack of 9/11 has plunged us into the same quagmire as Vietnam. The time line of American involvement in Vietnam started in the early 1960’s with Americans in strict “advisory roles.” 1965 the first Marines were sent to Nam and in 1973 the cease fire was signed. 8 years was our total involvement start to finish. It seems history taught us nothing.

We have now been in Afghanistan two more years than the USSR was there, and 4 more years than we were in Vietnam, and still there is no end in sight.

Where are all the hippies of the 70’s that waged the protests against war? Where are all the democrats that claimed a no war stance as their moral high ground? Where are all the hateful groups that held our military in disgrace over what they referred to as an immoral war and labeled then as “baby killers” and “murderers”?

I have your answer America; we have promoted those traitors to high cabinet positions, and other appointments that direct drone attacks from the sky at the push of a button.

Millennials Would Vote Today To "Recall Obama"

Millennials Would Vote Today To “Recall Obama”
Al Ritter

Not that Harvard students represent the overall mindset of America’s youth, but a recent poll shows the 18-24 year voters in Harvard University shows their disenchantment with their “Commander-in chief.”

Sixty one percent of the students don’t approve of how Obama is handling the whole healthcare issue. Similarly Congress didn’t fare much better, the students voted 51% to have all Congressional members removed from office!

Support of one of the main groups (18-24) that got Obama elected has slipped 11% in just one year. The older groups are still following Obama but even their support of the President is waning.

The 18-24 group is also not very happy with Obama in general as disapprove of his handling on the economy, Syria, Iran, and the Federal Budget.

Of course I find it funny that these students would support a “recall” vote on Obama’s presidency and a removal of the entire Congress even though no such thing exists under current law. Hopefully the question was prefaced by “if legally possible” would you vote to……..

Obviously their displeasure has taken root and even the number of registered democrats in that 18-24 group is falling, not expressly to the Republican Party but listed as Independents.

This isn’t particularly ground shaking news but it does represent a trend.

Republicans Need to Stand Up to Conservatives?

Republicans Need to Stand Up to Conservatives?
Al Ritter

Senator Mitch McConnell (R-KY) seems to think that “Conservatives” are giving conservatism a bad name!

If you need to read that sentence over, now would be a good time. Sen. McConnell obviously thinks he IS a conservative, and sees a challenge by a Tea Party candidate Matt Bevin as an invasion of his personal “good ol’ boys” network of moderate republican senators.

It seems funny to me that the Tea Party is under represented in both the House and Senate, and yet the citizens who consider themselves “republicans” more closely associate themselves as having Tea Party traits rather than moderate republican traits 51% to 49%.

“There were people who were basically afraid of conservatives, frankly,” McConnell said. “It’s time for people to stand up to this sort of thing.”

If Mitch McConnell actually believes what he said this week it would appear that this could be the election he loses his Senate seat, and sadly he would rather cling to his antiquated idea of the party and lose the election rather than mold his views to a new republican party that more closely mirrors the values of the old republican party of the past.

The real question is; Is Matt Bevin dynamic enough to come forth as a powerful voice of the Tea Party, or will Sen. McConnell’s Democratic challenger Alison Lundergan Grimes overcome her one point polling deficit (40-39)?

In the words of Hillary Clinton……..if given the choice between a Democrat or a moderate Republican

“What difference does it make?”
