The Main
Stream Media has been mysteriously quiet about this latest development by as of
May 1, 2026 the UAE is officially out of OPEC. Yes, you read that correctly!
Because of Iran’s repeated military attacks on the UAE infrastructure, they
have declared they no longer are part of a group that includes Iran.
UAE’s oil
production will no longer be subjected to low quotas established by OPEC to
drive prices up. Also, the UAE doesn’t have to transport oil through the Strait
of Hormuz. They have now declared they will almost double oil production.
This will
have two effects, of course it will lower oil prices world-wide, but it will
have a second benefit of lowering the price per barrel of any crude that Iran
can sell on the black market thereby decreasing their profit margin.
Why haven’t
we heard this on Main Stream Media? It doesn’t fit their liberal narrative for
being against the war and blockade.
