Inclusion or Exclusion?

Inclusion or Exclusion?
Al Ritter

I normally give a link at the end of the article but this demands a link in the beginning because too many may be confused about the intended message of the Montgomery County School District of Maryland.

At first glance you may assume that Montgomery County has done away with the Christmas Holiday.

Although Montgomery County is an extremely liberal county of the state of Maryland one has to wonder, were they forced into inclusion vs. exclusion or is this merely a religious cleansing?

CAIR forced a demand on the Montgomery County School District to include their holidays of Eid ul-Fitr and Eid ul-Adha to be added the school calendar.

My question is………are they doing this because of the Supreme Court ruling of the separation of church and state, or are they succumbing to the politically correct stance?

Read the article and while the CAIR is making a fuss, the Christmas vacation has been called Winter break since before I retired in 2000.

This may be new for Montgomery county but it is old news for most of the Maryland school districts.
We took the Christ out of Christmas and made it winter break.
