This is nothing new for Democrats, push for renewable energies
while eliminating the old sources before the new ones come on line.
Prices are based on supply and demand so when demand
increases but supply stays the same or even goes lower, prices get pushed
through the roof. Such is the case in Maryland when Gov Moore seeks to shut
down two coal fired plants without suitable replacement energy.
What happens in this instance is that Moore in an
attempt to appear to be the “Clean Governor” it backfires miserably on the
electric customers as electric costs have risen by 1000% since 2023.Now
Marylanders are forced to buy electric from out of state from coal fired plants
at a premium. It’s all about optics folks, and Moore wants to be seen as the
rising star in the Democratic Party.
Moore is also pushing for the wind farm off the coast
of Ocean City.
Thankfully the Trump Administration along with the
Maryland Freedom Caucus is pushing back on Moore’s crazy “Green Agenda” and
told him he will not be shutting down the two coal fired plants until suitable
replacement are online.
PJM Interconnection (the electric supplier) is caught
in the middle between and unsustainable demand vs supply battle with suppliers
and the Governor’s office.
How a State could go from a $5 billion dollar surplus
from the last Republican Governor to a $6 billion dollar deficit in almost two
years is inconceivable, but that’s what Democrats do, they spend as if nobody
has to pay off the credit card. In the words of liberal nationwide,
“Is this what you voted for?”

Fifty years ago idiots like this governor were confined to insane asylums. Now they run around freely creating disasters all the while under the deluded impression that they are helping people. If this jacka_s really wants to do something positive he should surrender himself to the nearest mental institution.

With no solutions
An outstanding example of inept, inefficient and ineffective Moore government. He is at his best at a ball game, bar, eating hot dogs or campaigning out of state. Not much accomplished as a dog walker.
Moore and the Maryland Democrat legislature are directly responsible for the tremendous increase in energy costs. Have you checked your heating and cooling bills? State intervention in energy supply business has caused those increases.
Moore government is not the solution to the problem, Moore government is the problem. It’s all the donkeys fault. If they did not waste taxpayer funds on illegal aliens, green new deal and railroads to nowhere then we could afford creature comforts. Democrat waste, fraud and abuse is why we cannot have nice things.
Hopefully voters will make a prudent selection in the 2026 gubernatorial election and replace the current unqualified and inadequate performing state executive.
As temperatures rise, so do our electricity bills. It has been a challenging summer as we battle the green new scam policies that threaten our power grid and drive up energy prices.
A new report from PJM suggested that "Residences, hospitals, military facilities, water treatment plants and other critical facilities may lose electric service to all or parts of their facilities due to lack of adequate generation." Maryland Democrats have created an energy crisis.
Thanks to the Maryland Freedom Caucus, U.S. Energy Secretary Wright, and President Trump, we have real solutions that will offer energy dominance for our state. Maryland Democrats just refuse to listen.
