I wondered why the self declared non-partisan group AARP would support a government run healthcare system, so I did some investigation, and found the answer glaringly simple. MONEY! It’s the main driving force of any business, and AARP is no exception.



I assumed they made most of their money from memberships, a glance at the 2008 AARP financial statement, changed my mind on that! The group received nearly $653 million in royalties from private insurance companies that sold products referred by AARP in 2008, while taking in $249 million in membership dues. Wondering what products they are getting commissions on I dove in a little deeper.



Seniors have basically two choices for Medicare supplemental insurance, the first one is a government run supplement called “Medicare Advantage,” the second one is called “Medigap” insurance and is sold by private insurance companies. This medigap is what the AARP endorses, and gets royalties on. Section 1161 of the House bill would slash payments to Medicare Advantage health plans used by 20 percent of seniors and cause them to lose some benefits, including vision and dental coverage, thus forcing them into the private insurance supplements such as AARP offers.



AARP is a non-profit 501 (c)(4) organization which doesn’t allow them to take money from the government, but alas they have figured a way around all that. AARP FOUNDATION is a separate and distinct organization, they are housed in the same building as AARP, have a completely separate Board of Directors, but they have one major distinction, they are listed as a 501 (c)(3) organization that not only CAN take government money, they actively sought out federal grants. The Internal Revenue Service, the Department of Health and Human Services, the Department of Housing and Urban Development and the Department of Labor, were all sources of the second largest income of the $90 million 2008 income.





The AARP FOUNDATION can engage in fundraising activities to advance its particular public policy agenda. However, the foundation works so closely with AARP that the two entities are barely indistinguishable. Is this combination of organizations reminiscent of another group?



House Minority Leader John Boehner, R-Ohio, blasted AARP in an interview with the Hill just days ago."AARP is one of the most liberal organizations in Washington, D.C.," Boehner said. "Obviously, most seniors aren't aware of that."

During the Obama campaign we saw a picture of Obama standing in front of a flag along with Bill Richardson while the Pledge of Allegiance was being recited. Everyone in the picture had their hand over their heart and was reciting, except Obama. The campaign gave some lame excuse of why he wasn’t actively involved.

The truth seemed to come to light during the Veterans Day Event at Arlington National Cemetery. It seems that Mr. Obama has slapped not only the veterans in the face, but the rest of America as well. I don’t know an American that won’t pledge their allegiance to the country to which they are a citizen.

No excuse will suffice this time Mr. Obama, you would be a poor excuse for a leader in ANY country, but you are REALLY a poor example for a leader in MY country!

Maybe you exhibit the naiveté of this 10 year old, who places his allegiance on conditions, maybe your refusal is deeper seeded, personally I don’t care, your actions show disrespect for our country!

“What we have here is a failure to communicate”. I love that line from Cool Hand Luke. In my opinion, that was one of Paul Newman’s best films. It fits what happened this past weekend so well. We had tea parties, and congress didn’t listen. We had Washington rallies and congress didn’t listen. Michele Bachman (R-MN) held a rally on the capital steps and still congress didn’t listen. New Jersey voters even defeated a governor who Obama himself stated was a man of vital importance in the pursuit of his agenda. Still, congress didn’t listen.

Thank you house for ramming Obamacare up our &^%*#.

Nancy Pelosi knows full well that the only way she will ever leave office is on her own terms. San Francisco is in love with The Wicked Witch of the West and because of that, the rest of the country must suffer. She is a socialist though and through and will not stop pushing this country towards socialism, using every strong armed tactic she knows.

She managed to get Obamacare pushed though the house even though 39 democrats voted against it. Of course Anh Cao (RINO- New Orleans) was the lone republican voting for it. Cao, it seems solicited a bride by the White House to buy his vote but what does the White House care, it’s not their money, it’s tax payers money and this administration believes they can use it anyway they wish. To hell with what the people have to say about it.

One hurdle down, next up, the senate.

Next up is the senate. With 15% more Americans disapproving of Obamacare than are in favor of it, getting past the second hurdle might be a little tougher than the first. The senate seems to be a little less radical than the house and according to Politico, senate majority leader; Harry Reid’s senate seat is in the greatest danger of being lost by the democrats in the 2010 election. Acorn and SEIU will do everything within their power to ensure this does not happen though Acorn has problems of their own in Nevada.

This vote on late Saturday just proves what every one already knows. Nancy Pelosi & Barack Obama only care about themselves and their own radical agendas. They have no care or interest in the future of those that serve in the same party as them. They could care less about what the people want or fulfilling campaign promises of transparency, morality, and fiscal responsibility. They have already blown those three items to hell and they didn’t even bat an eyelash doing it.

2010 Elections are now less than a year away. Obama & Co know that they are going to lose many of their house and senate seats that are in moderate and conservative districts and states. They know they must push this though before those elections and do not care about who they have to throw under the bus to get it done. Some, like so-called blue dog democrat Dennis Moore (D-KS) are willing to be lead like a lamb to the slaughter house. Good-bye Dennis Moore, I’m sure that my neighbors in Overland Park won’t miss you and will be happy to see you gone. Dennis Moore became something of celebrity back in August when he refused to hold town hall meetings because of claims of death threats, even though the Kansas State Police and the FBI found no evidence supporting his claim. Now if only I could get rid on my own Obama backside kissing Missouri rep; The good reverend Emanuel “Obama is more popular than God” Cleaver.

Before all the bailouts last year under Bush, our President and congress had only mortgaged our own futures. In Obama’s first 9 months in office, he, along with Reid & Pelosi immediately with though our children’s futures and mortgages our grandkids ($35,000 per child and growing) as well. If Cap & Trade and Obamacare pass, this country will be bankrupt. If another stimulus package is passed, this country will be bankrupt.

With a declining dollar, mounting debt and being on the verge of losing the very freedoms this country was founded on, I may have to move to Mexico in a year or two to find a job because there won’t be any here.

Although gang members constitute only a fraction of military personnel nationwide, their presence can compromise installation security and force protection both internally and externally. Gang members in the military can disrupt good order and discipline and threaten military operations. Gang membership in the ranks may also result in a disruption of command, low morale, disciplinary problems, and a broad range of criminal activity. Gang-affiliated military personnel and dependent gang-affiliated children of service members facilitate crime on and off military installations, and are at risk of transferring their weapons and combat training back to the community to employ against rival gang members and law enforcement officers.”

“Members of nearly every major street gang, including the Bloods, Crips, Black Disciples, Gangster Disciples, Hells Angels, Latin Kings, The 18th Street Gang, Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13), Mexican Mafia, Nortenos, Surenos, Vice Lords, and various white supremacist groups, have been documented on military installations both domestically and internationally. These members are present in most branches and across all ranks of the military, but are most common among the junior enlisted ranks.

The US Army, Army Reserves, and National Guard are likely to have the most enlisted gang members because they are either the largest branches of the military, the service is part-time, or they tend not to be as selective as the other branches of the armed services. Estimates are difficult to obtain because many gang-related incidences are reported as conduct matters and are not within the investigative purview of criminal investigative services. However, the US Army’s recent adoption of the National Crime Information Center definition of “gangs” and “gang membership” may contribute to an increase in reporting of gang-related incidents.”

There is no question that gangs ARE in our Military, soldiers in the theatre are instructed not to discuss the problem, and the press has been instructed that they may not photograph or film the “gang tagging” (graffiti) on walls in Afghanistan. The big question is…..does the military condone or in a worst case scenario, do they actively recruit gang members?

In February 2006, the Baltimore Sun wrote that there was "a significant increase in the number of recruits with what the Army terms 'serious criminal misconduct' in their background," this includes, "aggravated assault, robbery, vehicular manslaughter, receiving stolen property and making terrorist threats." From 2004 to 2005, the number of those recruits rose by more than 54 percent, while alcohol and illegal drug waivers, reversing a four-year decline, increased by more than 13 percent.

In 2004 the Pentagon did a “Moral Waiver” study, in a move to increase a declining enlistment role. Certain waivers could be issued for past behavior of potential recruits.

After Steven Green, who served in the 101st Airborne Division, was charged in a rape and quadruple murder in Mahmudiyah, Iraq, it was disclosed that he had been "a high-school dropout from a broken home who enlisted to get some direction in his life, yet was sent home early because of an anti-social personality disorder."

In one reported case, they (Army) went to a "youth prison" in Ogden, Utah. Although Steven Price had asked to see a recruiter while still incarcerated, he was "barely 17 when he enlisted in January 2005 "and his divorced parents say "recruiters used false promises and forged documents to enlist him," confusion exists about whether the boy's mother actually signed a parental consent form allowing her son to enlist, but his father apparently wasn't even at the signing, but his name is on the form too.

Early in 2006, a reported transfer of 10,000 to 20,000 troops to Fort Bliss, Texas, caused FBI and local law enforcement to fear a turf war between "members of the FolkNation gang.

Investigators have identified a network of neo-Nazi active-duty Army and Marine personnel spread across five military installations in five states. "They're communicating with each other about weapons, about recruiting, about keeping their identities secret, about organizing within the military," he said.

Tick tick tick tick….that is the sound of the time bomb inside me that should be going off. Better yet, it should have already gone off and turned me into a cold blooded mass murder, or so the white house, the lamestream media and so called experts say anyway.

Why is everyone making excuses for Major Hasasn, the nut job that killed 13 people at Fort Hood and wounded several others? We should all feel sorry for him because he was suffering due to all the compassion he had for the returning soldiers and that compassion caused him to suffer Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Boo hoo hoo. I’m crying a river for this guy……it just upsets me so much can’t you tell.

I got spanked as a child, therefore I should I should be a withdrawn and unable to function in society. I got yelled at in boot camp and multiple other times while in the military, I should have been harboring rage and having uncontrollable thoughts about going on a killing spree. My first ship had the engine room go up in flames killing six and wounding a dozen more, I should have a serious unnatural fear of ships and the ocean, and possibly become a arsonist, and to top it off, I caught my wife in my bed with another man, I should have lost all control and uncontrollably beat him to death with the baseball bat that was in the room with the three of us.

Yes, the spankings, the getting chewed out several times, the ship blowing up and the catching the now ex wife in my bed with her present day husband are all real. So I must be a freak of nature because I haven’t committed or pulled out a gun and killed a whole bunch of people I don’t know. I didn’t even touch the guy I caught having sex with the woman I was married to at the time. But wait, I’m still a ticking time bomb according to the lamebrain experts. Oh no….I could go off tomorrow or maybe this weekend.

Why on earth is everyone trying to make excuses for this Fort Hood terrorist dirt bag? Poor Major Hasan, he was just an innocent victim who didn’t recognize the warning signs of stress caused by all the compassion he held for his patients. What a Major load of crap. He’s been a walking, talking, neon flashing billboard for Muslim extremism for quite a while, but thanks political correctness brainwashing, no one saw it.

There are tens of thousands in the military that have gone through similar experiences like the few I listed. They haven’t gone out and killed innocent people at random. They haven’t developed Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and withdrawn only to become another coward that committed suicide instead of dealing with the events in their lives. My sympathies go out to anyone who had a loved one commit suicide. It’s a painful thing to deal with but I stand by my opinion of it’s a coward’s way of not having to face your own demons.

Hasan yells praises to Allah before he starts pulling the trigger and this is not an act of terrorism? His goal was to kill as many American soldiers as possible in a very short amount of time and it’s not terrorism? By every definition of the word terrorism, it most certainly is. I believe he wanted to get killed during it so he could be hailed in the Muslim world as a martyr for the jihadist cause and get his 72 virgins. Sorry sucker, you are not getting anything but a lifetime in a 6 x 9 cell. I hope they don’t tell you which way east is inside that cell so you will never be able to pray in the traditional Muslim manner. Poor pitiful you. You aren’t ever going to get out of solitary confinement because if you do, you are going to painfully suffer every moment you are in general population for the rest of your life. I hope you live a long long LONG time and literally rot in prison before you actually rot in hell. And forget political correctness, I hope they serve you pork for every meal of every day for the rest of your natural life. And when you die, may they bury a pig inside your coffin with you.

Our President doesn’t wasn’t this to be classified as a terrorist act. He can’t have an attack on American soil under his watch, therefore any excuse for not calling this an act of terror including labeling this guy as a poor victim must be repeated by the military, the administration and the lamestream media. Thanks Bernie Goldberg, I like the term “lamestream”.

FEMA describes terrorism as:
Terrorism is the use of force or violence against persons or property in violation of the criminal laws of the United States for purposes of intimidation, coercion, or ransom.
Terrorists often use threats to:
• Create fear among the public.
• Try to convince citizens that their government is powerless to prevent terrorism.
• Get immediate publicity for their causes.

Acts of terrorism include threats of terrorism; assassinations; kidnappings; hijackings; bomb scares and bombings; cyber attacks (computer-based); and the use of chemical, biological, nuclear and radiological weapons.

High-risk targets for acts of terrorism include military and civilian government facilities, international airports, large cities, and high-profile landmarks.

Now if we use this definition, the attack at Ft. Hood WAS a terrorist attack. Now the big question here is was this a Muslim Terror Attack? Major Nidal Malik Hasan is a Muslim convert, he has made his opinion known to coworkers as to his displeasure in fighting a war against fellow Muslims. He has even gone on record using his role as psychiatrist to argue that same point with the very people he was supposedly helping to deal with post traumatic stress syndrome. It seems obvious that his religion was the driving factor in his slip from reality, but then to excuse his behavior because he was a Major in our own military, is ridiculous.

The next question asked is…….Is he just a deranged person that cracked under pressure, or was it a real terrorist attack? To answer such a question you would need to decide if the typical suicide bomber is sane. You would need to ask yourself if this action by this man was premeditated, or was something that was a spur of the moment thing? Reports from the media claim that he had said his “goodbyes” before the event actually happened, so seems that it was premeditated. It was intended to get publicity for their cause, it was intended to promote fear among the public, and it did use violence for the purpose of intimidation , and coercion. He was also reportedly yelling in Arabic “Allah Akbar,” as he shot his victims.

If you use the government’s own definition of terrorism this event certainly qualifies, and the media’s need to downplay the religious angle, and actually deny it as a radical Muslim attack is not only misleading, it certainly fails the “smell test.”

I need to reprint an article I wrote last year, my detractors see it as racist, but it reflects the REAL facts. Real facts can’t be politically correct, they can’t be politically incorrect, they are just facts, I’m sorry if that offends you, but attacks like these offend the families of the dead too. The victims were entitled to life……….deal with it!

Who are we fighting in Afghanistan Mr. President?

President Obama stated in April ….. "Let me say this as clearly as I can," Obama said. "The United States is not and never will be at war with Islam. In fact, our partnership with the Muslim world is critical ... in rolling back a fringe ideology that people of all faiths reject."

I was as baffled then as I am today by his statement. If what our President was trying to say is that the war is against Islamic extremists, then I partially understand, but not only hasn’t he said that, but the Muslims on the side of peace and love of god haven’t voiced that either.

Obama accuses his own country’s people of being “Islamophobes.” But yet all one has to do is go to the government site to see the attacks by terrorists on our country and who claimed responsibility.

Ambassador to Afghanistan Assassinated, February 14, 1979: Four Afghans kidnapped U.S. Ambassador Adolph Dubs in Kabul and demanded the release of various "religious figures." Dubs was killed, along with four alleged terrorists, when Afghan police stormed the hotel room where he was being held.

Iran Hostage Crisis, November 4, 1979: After President Carter agreed to admit the Shah of Iran into the US, Iranian radicals seized the U.S. Embassy in Tehran and took 66 American diplomats hostage. Thirteen hostages were soon released, but the remaining 53 were held until their release on January 20, 1981.

Bombing of U.S. Embassy in Beirut, April 18, 1983: Sixty-three people, including the CIA’s Middle East director, were killed and 120 were injured in a 400-pound suicide truck-bomb attack on the U.S. Embassy in Beirut, Lebanon. The Islamic Jihad claimed responsibility.

Bombing of Marine Barracks, Beirut, October 23, 1983: Simultaneous suicide truck-bomb attacks were made on American and French compounds in Beirut, Lebanon. TWA Hijacking, June 14, 1985: A Trans-World Airlines flight was hijacked en route to Rome from Athens by two Lebanese Hizballah terrorists and forced to fly to Beirut. The eight crew members and 145 passengers were held for seventeen days, during which one American hostage, a U.S. Navy sailor, was murdered. One U.S. passenger was murdered before the Egyptian government offered the terrorists safe haven in return for the hostages’ freedom.

Kidnapping of William Higgins, February 17, 1988: U.S. Marine Corps Lieutenant Colonel W. Higgins was kidnapped and murdered by the Iranian-backed Hizballah group while serving with the United Nations Truce Supervisory Organization (UNTSO) in southern Lebanon.

Attempted Iraqi Attacks on U.S. Posts, January 18-19, 1991: Iraqi agents planted bombs at the U.S. Ambassador to Indonesia’s home residence and at the USIS library in Manila.

The Islami Inqilabi Council, or Islamic Revolutionary Council, claimed responsibility in a call to the U.S. Consulate in Karachi. Somali Hostage-takings, April 15, 1998: Somali militiamen abducted nine Red Cross and Red Crescent workers at an airstrip north of Mogadishu. The hostages included a U.S. citizen, a German, a Belgian, a French, a Norwegian, two Swiss, and one Somali. The gunmen were members of a sub-clan loyal to Ali Mahdi Mohammed, who controlled the northern section of the capital.

U.S. Embassy Bombings in East Africa, August 7, 1998: A bomb exploded at the rear entrance of the U.S. Embassy in Nairobi, Kenya, killing 12 U.S. citizens, 32 Foreign Service Nationals (FSNs), and 247 Kenyan citizens. Approximately 5,000 Kenyans, 6 U.S. citizens, and 13 FSNs were injured. The U.S. Embassy building sustained extensive structural damage. Almost simultaneously, a bomb detonated outside the U.S. Embassy in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, killing 7 FSNs and 3 Tanzanian citizens, and injuring 1 U.S. citizen and 76 Tanzanians. The explosion caused major structural damage to the U.S. Embassy facility. The U.S. Government held Usama Bin Laden responsible.

Kidnappings in Kyrgyzstan, August 12, 2000: In the Kara-Su Valley, the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan took four U.S. citizens hostage. The Americans escaped on August 12.
Attack on U.S.S. Cole, October 12, 2000: In Aden, Yemen, a small dingy carrying explosives rammed the destroyer U.S.S. Cole, killing 17 sailors and injuring 39 others. Supporters of Usama Bin Laden were suspected.

Manila Bombing, December 30, 2000: A bomb exploded in a plaza across the street from the U.S. Embassy in Manila, injuring nine persons. The Moro Islamic Liberation Front was likely responsible.

Terrorist Attacks on U.S. Homeland, September 11, 2001: Two hijacked airliners crashed into the twin towers of the World Trade Center. Soon thereafter, the Pentagon was struck by a third hijacked plane. A fourth hijacked plane, suspected to be bound for a high-profile target in Washington, crashed into a field in southern Pennsylvania. The attacks killed 3,025 U.S. citizens and other nationals. President Bush and Cabinet officials indicated that Usama Bin Laden was the prime suspect and that they considered the United States in a state of war with international terrorism. In the aftermath of the attacks, the United States formed the Global Coalition Against Terrorism.

These were attacks BEFORE 9/11, and happened either on American property or involving American citizens. These accounts are only a partial list, twice the amount that was reported worldwide. All these attacks were perpetrated by “Islamic” or “Muslim” groups. No massive condemnation has come from the “peaceful faction of the Islamic faith.”

My questions go out to our President, if we aren’t at war with Islam, then why are we chasing them through Afghanistan and Pakistan? Because you share a younger life with the Islamic faith, does not mean I understand, condone, or for that matter that I am an “Islamophobe.” Don’t demonize me, or claim our country is somehow unfair to people of the Islamic faith, and certainly don’t call it religious, or racial profiling, we didn’t “start this war,” and the citizens of our country are not the only victims.

I see Islam as a faith based on the Quran, as one of violence, and hatred for anyone who doesn’t think like they do, curiously like your Administration. If we aren’t at war with Islam Mr. President, who exactly ARE we at war with? It doesn’t appear as though your main stream media has bothered to ask such a simple question……..

Last week, I stated that I would have traded either governorship the RNC picked up last Tuesday for the house seat won by Bill Owens in the New York 23rd district race. I’m still not very happy about Doug Hoffman losing that race but the loss might turn out to be a blessing in disguise.

Newt Gingrich stated on the Hannity Show that he made a mistake backing Scuzzafava and respecting the New York republican leadership’s decision to run her instead of Hoffman. Could this be a wake up call for those republicans in power? Only time will tell if they got the message.

First off, I am not a republican. I am a conservative and being a conservative, my votes usually go to the republican candidate because they better represent me and my beliefs.

The RNC wasted valuable money and resources backing a candidate that was just as liberal if not more so than her democratic counterpart. They wasted time and effort trying to dismiss Hoffman as a serious candidate. They got their collective rear ends handed to them by a candidate with very little money, almost no exposure, no major party backing, short staffed and he was a late entry into the race. Doug Hoffman, his message and his grass roots conservative supporters buried their candidate.

Hopefully this election will serve as a wake up call and a warning to all state and federal levels of the Republican Party. The majority of the people don’t care about party affiliation. Conservatives do not want to mixed messages and trying to be al things to all people. Conservatives do not need a party platform, they already have one, and it’s called morals and principals. The RNC would be better served to learn this instead of finding ways to attract new voters by way of supporting more liberal causes.

The Republican Party does not need more people like John McCain and Lindsey Graham. They have too many now and that is what has hurt them over the past several election cycles. They need more candidates like Doug Hoffman, Sarah Steelman and Michele Bachman. People that put principal over party and the constitution over congressional approval. The RNC needs candidates that will serve the people and not their own interest or the party’s interest or work for special interest.

The DNC has for several elections now been running candidates at the state and congressional levels that have been a little closer to the center than left in certain key areas where elections could go either way. That is why they are now in congress and that is why you hear the term “Blue Dog Democrats”. The reason these people are in office can not all be blamed on hatred for George Bush. They mainly got beat because they sold out to the “Washington Politics As Usual” crowd and forgot to stand on principal.

If Newt Gingrich and Michael Steele got the message that was sent to the Republican Party by Hoffman’s loss, then there is a chance that conservatives will again support the Republican Party. If not, count on the democrats to hold on to several key seats in the 2010 election.

It’s hard to believe that just one year ago, people were voting for “hope,” and “change.” Change is exactly what they got but did the voters really want a dismantling of the American way of life? I say the American way of life because the Obama Administration is in the midst of destroying the very things that our forefathers, had intended to circumvent any one person, or party’s rule.

Allies: The Obama Administration has shown disrespect to our long time allies, England, France, Germany, Israel, and many others, while offering an olive branch to militant, rogue nations whose only desire is to wipe the U.S.A. off the face of the earth. His ability to barter items in foreign diplomacy is sadly lacking as he constantly seeks to micro-manage the foreign policy, and resign Hillary Clinton to a back seat roll.

Bankruptcy: This President is the first one to step in and take an active role of setting the requirements of Corporate Bankruptcy Proceedings. In a concerted effort he took the role of who gets what out of the Judicial Branch’s hands, and decided on his own, the final settlement in senior and junior investments, against all precedence.

Biased Media: Only one President in the past was so paranoid that he sought to silence selected media outlets. Watergate was the event, Richard Nixon was the President, and his loathing of the media was in fact his undoing. We now see almost a repeat of the past with Barack Obama. Obama and his Administration have declared one news station as showing “a point of view” rather than reporting the news. He leaves all the rest of the media on a pedestal, thereby pushing his own bias. The FCC is pushing to silence conservative radio.

Constitution: Our constitution does not give ANY part of the government the power to take over publicly traded corporations, and yet the Obama Administration took over banks, financial institutions, brokerages, and auto manufacturing. Nowhere in the Constitution does it give the right to force healthcare on the citizens. Nowhere in the Constitution does it say government has the right to subsidize programs of entitlement, or welfare.

Credibility: The Administration has lied to the American people constantly since coming into power, and yet vilified those who seek to expose the truth. Is it any wonder that your popularity has fallen? Habitual lying will turn off all voters, including the ones who voted for you in the first place. Voters close their collective ears to habitual liars, and as a result the credibility of the sacred office of the President of the United States will be in question

Czars: No President has ever named more czars than this Administration. Czars circumvent the very process intended by our Constitution to perform proper vetting by way of Senate confirmation hearings of cabinet members. Czars escape under the radar, and are making powerful decisions with no congressional oversight.

Declarations: The Administration has made two declarations; one was to close Gitmo, with no plan in site where to send the detainees. The second declaration was to close the Yucca Mountain storage facility of spent nuclear fuel, with no plan of what to do with the spent fuel. These declarations needed alternatives BEFORE closures were revealed.

Executive Pay: There is no provision in the Constitution that allows an unelected, non vetted, appointed “czar” the right to decide whose pay is too high, and the ability to adjust that pay against a legal binding contract.

Federal Bank: The Fed has gained too much power in our country. In one of the very few bi-partisan bills since the Obama Administration took over, Rep Ron Paul wanted total transparency for the government entity, and 308 of his fellow Congressmen agreed. Unfortunately the bill had its teeth ripped out by a Democrat who had accepted campaign funds from the banking industry. One doesn’t have to have much of an imagination to see that is a conflict of interest.

Foreign Policy: The Obama Administration has taken it upon themselves to “apologize” for the past policies of our country, claiming we are “arrogant.” His experience in foreign policy is naïve at best and treasonous at worst. The Europeans on a whole are either the ones we defeated in WWII or the ones we saved, why must we apologize for that?

Indecision on troop deployment: The Obama Administration has stalled a request from a commander that HE picked for his judgment, to increase troops in Afghanistan. The sad part is that the troops on the ground in that country are more in danger because of his indecision. He has had the ability to make a choice of whether to stay or go in Afghanistan’s internal rebel war.

Issues popular to the people: The Administration constantly uses “slight of hand” to shift the passage of unpopular bills. While the public watches a battle on healthcare, the Congress is trying to pass another bill under darkness of night. None of the “crisis” situations that the Obama Administration wants to pass is in the forefront of what the public wants. The most pressing issue now is jobs and the economy, neither of which have been improved by Congresses massive Stimulus Spending. In fact joblessness continues to climb while the Administration is trying to spin this as a “jobless recovery.” This is the most ridiculous statement they have made next to the term “saved jobs,” which is yet another claim they can’t prove.

Lawyer stacking: This Administration has more lawyers than any other President in history, and as a result views the world as either a litigant or a plaintiff. As a result they view our business world as the deep pockets that the poor may dip their hands into.

Manufacturing: America has the second highest taxes for corporations in the world. That added to the forced union power has forced manufacturing jobs abroad. We are on track to become the world’s largest reboxer of foreign made goods. We are being pushed farther down the road of losing our edge in the world of production.

Money: Printing presses have been working overtime since the Obama Inauguration, printing money at unprecedented rates. Even though the Nixon Administration eliminated the demand that we always have a Federal Reserve of gold to back the printing of money, the present Administration has run more rampant than any past Administration. Too much cash doesn’t mean we have more money, it means the money we have is worth less, and is the printing of more is always the forerunner of inflation.

Ponzi scheme: Bernie Madoff recently went to prison for promising people a wonderful result on their investment while ignoring the need to pay investors further down the road. Our Government is involved in their own Ponzi scheme, spending money at an unprecedented rate, promising wonderful results, while ignoring the fact those future generations will have to pay back the principle long after the legislators are dead and gone. Madoff got money, Obama gets political clout, what is the difference other than the Administration isn’t in jail?

Print Media: This may be the next recipient of a Federal Bailout, of course depending on what sort of slant the particular newspaper has. It is clear the liberals want to have a voice in newsprint even if the public doesn’t want to buy it. Clearly it would be yet another subsidized program the government refuses to fund properly, constantly needing a cash infusion, much the way Amtrak has been.

Racial divide: Obama ran his campaign on the idea of unity between races. His actions to date have shown exactly the opposite action. He uses the racial divide to further HIS personal cause, and not for the benefit of the overall citizens.

Truth in Advertising: The Administration has constantly vilified the very people he wishes to side with them. You can say that a doctor would remove a leg strictly for the money he would receive, and then expect them to stand with you to defend your healthcare initiatives. You can’t tell Wall Street they have to take pay cuts and then welcome you with open arms. You can’t tell Americans that they will get better healthcare at a lesser price by joining with you to enforce a healthcare reform that forces them into your HMO, when they used to have a good PPO. You can’t tell people that they will still make decisions on healthcare with their doctors when you want to install a “firewall” of bureaucrats that will make decisions on what care will be granted.

Unions: No President in the past has given more power to unions. Obama has publicly stated that he is “beholding” to the unions because they contributed to his campaign. Unions have forced manufacturing jobs abroad, by way of increased benefits to their own members. The card check system the Administration wants passed, demands that union votes be done in public, endorsing union harassment of the very employees that are forced to pay for their strong arm tactics.

United Nations: This Administration has seen fit to give taxpayers hard earned money to the U.N. commonly known as the most corrupt world-wide agency. Our membership monetary involvement was being withheld from the U.N. to force investigations into corruption, and yet the Obama Administration handed over all past money owed to the U.N. with no conditions. The Administration has voiced the need for “world governance,” which will basically eliminate our Constitution, and present government, under the guise of “treaties.”

Unemployment: Unemployment continues to rise even after the Stimulus Package is doled out. The Administration continues to claim they are saving jobs although there is no proof of that in numbers that we can see. The Administration claimed that they would create all these jobs and yet the numbers look dismal. The new spin is that we might get a “jobless recovery,” although that has never happened in the past, they are certainly claiming it. Just announced today 10.2% unemployment, nice job Mr. President!

The 2009 election is over and for once, there were more categories of winners but in truth, more losers than winners when all the dust settled.

In both Virginia and New Jersey, the list of winners and losers are about the same. You have each individual candidate; you have their respective state party and their national party each being either a winner or loser as the case may be. But even those that did not vote for the winning governor of those states still are winners if those elected do what they said they would do. Only time will tell if they are able to make their states a better place.

NY-23. The election of Bill Owens was something I actually thought would happen when the republican pretender dropped out of the race and gave him her support. Since she did not technically drop out of the race but merely suspended her campaign, she left the door open to get back into it should Owens manage to drop the ball. Scuzzyfavors managed to pull enough votes away from Hoffman to hand Owens, her candidate of choice the election. And who says that republicans and democrats can not work together on anything.

The White House is trying to spin this race as the only one that was an actual referendum on their administration. The other two were state issue only races and have no bearing on the political climate of America. Of course they had this statement ready to go on Monday because I heard these same words at 6:00 am central time Tuesday morning, November 3rd. Now, how exactly did the White House know the outcome of these races before hand? Speculation perhaps or that they had different statements ready to go in case this scenario didn’t play out. The funny thing was, this was the exact statement and the only statement I heard on my drive into work that morning. The other thing that bothered me about this race was the percentages of the votes. From less than 1% reporting to 97% reporting, the percentages never varied by more than a single digit. I can not recall any election in history where the percentages stayed that consistent throughout the night.

So, who were the real winners of NY -23? Acorn, DNC, White House, Bill Owens, man made global warming believers, cap & trade supporters, unrestricted abortionist, socialist, government mandated health care supporters and anyone who believes that the federal government should have unlimited powers. Democracy, Freedom and the Constitution were the real losers in this contest.

I would gladly trade either governor’s seat for Hoffman picking up that congressional seat.

Republicans have defeated Chesapeake Bay saving measures in Maryland?

Even though Democrats outnumber Republicans 3 to 1 in the Maryland House and Democrats outnumber the Republicans 2 to 1 in the Maryland Senate, Scott Hymes from the Maryland Department of Resources claimed that “conservatives” from Harford, Anne Arundel, and Worchester County are the ones responsible for blocking initiatives to clean up the Chesapeake Bay.

When questioned on November 3, 2009 at a Café in Timonium during “Green Drinks”social about if the “save the bay tags” have improved the well being of the Chesapeake Bay, he replied, the tag fees have improved the condition of the bay. When asked what the percentage of decrease in pollution of the bay, had been accomplished, the conversation took a turn. He blamed states Republicans for blocking the needed improvement in the bay. I asked him who was responsible for the blockage in the needed legislature, and he replied that legislators in Anne Arundel County, Harford County, and Worchester County.

I asked him to clarify his claim, but he replied, “I can see that I can’t talk to you about politics,” and refused to talk to me any longer. It was unclear if he was talking to me as a spokesman of the Maryland Department of Resources or as a private individual, but his evading answers contained no clear answers or accusations. His claims of Republican blocked votes remain unsubstantiated, but they are accusations never the less. Is this how the O’Malley Administration views the minority legislature? Do they blame the party who doesn’t have enough votes to even raise a hair on the Administration’s neck for the pollution in the Chesapeake Bay? It was clear that Mr. Hymes could not site the pollution reduction facts let alone produce the names of the reported legislators whom he claimed had blocked important legislation.

Obviously part of Maryland’s pollution of the Chesapeake Bay comes from the upstream states, but employees of the State who have an outside voice want to blame “conservative” legislators for the supposed pollution in our state tributary. Actually I was surprised that he didn’t blame George Bush, it seems most liberals start out a conversation that way.

I find it funny that conservatives are constantly badgered to produce facts on their claims, but when the tables are reversed they get belligerent, and end a discussion. With a title such as “Local Government Liaison/ Team Coordinator, Local Government and Community Services Division, you would think he would have the facts at hand, and been able to cite pollution reduction facts in verse, but instead he made the choice to end the conversation without citing a single fact, but instead injecting his political view……………..I’m glad I didn’t ask him his opinion on Cap and Trade!

Democrats gut a popular Congressional bill

Of 435 people in Congress, 308 of them co-sponsored a bill by Rep. Ron Paul (R-TX) to not only audit the Federal bank but: “To amend title 31, United States Code, to reform the manner in which the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System is audited by the Comptroller General of the United States and the manner in which such audits are reported, and for other purposes.”

H.R. 1207 and its related bill in the Senate S. 604 would have had far reaching exposure as to how the Fed does business, and to expose the way business has been done in the past.
The popularity of this bill, bridged both sides of the aisle, as Democrats and republicans alike signed on to demand transparency in yet another governmental agency, but alas, this bill was “gutted” in a congressional committee, specifically by a Democrat whose campaign contributions by the banking industry, were the largest in his committee.

In a telephone interview with Bloomberg, Rep. Paul reported that the teeth had been ripped out of the bill.

"There's nothing left; it's been gutted," Paul said. "This is not a partisan issue. People all over the country want to know what the Fed is up to, and this legislation was supposed to help them do that."

Rep. Paul pointed his finger at the chairman of the House Financial Service Committee's panel on domestic monetary policy, Rep. Mel Watt (D-N.C.) for eliminating "just about everything" in preparation for the bill's consideration on the floor of the House.

Watt’s campaign contributions in the 2008 cycle amounted to $609,072, but the largest portion was from the banking and financial institutions, a whopping 35.6 % or $217,109!

Contributors to Watt’s campaign were Bank of America, Wachovia Corp., American Express and the American Bankers Association.

Message to the Liar in Chief: You can’t have it both ways!

The administration prompted by Al Gore, and John Kerry think they have a lock on what’s happening on the “global whatever” front. I say, whatever, because they can’t make up their collective minds. They have made prognostications on the climate of the earth based on flawed data for the last 20 years, and depending on what the latest computer model says, they have pushed a political agenda.

Let’s look at the “global warming” scare as covered by everyone for the last 20 yrs. The very first Earth Day it was prophesied that the climate was cooling, and it was caused by man-made CO2 production. When it was discovered that the trend wasn’t cooling but in actuality, warming, they decided to blame the newest trend of warming. Well they ran more computer models, none of which came to fruition.

They were not satisfied because their premonitions didn’t come true! Now they claim that where ever the climate goes, it’s the fault of humans (climate change.) Mr. President you can’t have it both ways, claim warming, claim cooling, but you can’t claim everything!

They claim that everything happens because of human life, disease, economic downturns, natural disasters, everything!

Let’s get real here, although Al Gore claims all this stuff, and the IPCC (International Panel on Climate Change) says something, please note that the panel includes the word Intergovernmental, it doesn’t mean it’s true according to scientific fact. The word Intergovernmental means it has to do with governments……..POLITICAL! The reports from the supposed un-biased panel are actually subject to modification or editing if the desired reports don’t conform to the general consciences of what they wish to push.

The courts of England have upheld a ruling that Al Gore’s film had 9 lies in it. Yet in our country, no such declaration exists, thusly Gore gets away with his wild and unsubstantiated claims, and the Administration gets the same kind of special pass.

The lies were present in the Clinton Administration, as the Kyoto Protocol was signed by then President Clinton, but the Congress told him that they would never ratify it, because of its World Governance wording. Today’s Copenhagen agreement will be no different about the World Governance issue, but the progressive liberals think this is a good idea, as shown in evidence by John Kerry.

As it stands two of the largest countries in the world refuse to sign the Copenhagen Agreement, China and India, and they are the world’s largest polluters. If they take no responsibility in the pollution of the world, then why should the civilized nations?

Contact your Congressmen and Senators, and tell them that the Cap and Trade bill in our country, and the Copenhagen Agreement, is just too expensive, and unless the whole world is willing to participate, it will do nothing to curb global pollution!

GOOD MORNING NORTH KOREA……….oh wait, this is America. Doesn’t matter which one we actually are because they are starting to look more and more alike. Our Dear Leader Kim Jong Obama is extremely delighted that the citizens of the People’s Republic of America have taken to heart his vision of a “Transformed America”.

Dear Leader is proud to see that almost all references of the Winter Holidays are referred to in its properly and politically correct term instead of using that awful term “Christmas” which excludes everyone from joining in on the celebrations except those hate mongering Christians. So proud is he that in the coming days, he will order the removal and re-education of all those who oppose his vision.

OK, so maybe it’s not fair to compare President Obama with Kim Jong-Il. One wants nuclear power and weapons and the other wants to rid the country of all nuclear plants and weapons. One is a pretty good basketball player and the other is sort of shaped like a basketball. One craves more power over the people of their country and the other has all power over the people of their country. One holds true to the traditional ways of their country and the other hates tradition.

America is not yet 250 years old and already our traditional ways and values are being assaulted every day by the ACLU, the media, special interest groups, and scores of others. Give us your tired, your hungry, your poor still holds true in America but come to this country legally, otherwise deport them.

Less than 50 years ago terms like Winter Holidays and Winter Festivals were not in existence as far as replacing the word Christmas. 50 years ago, no hate crime laws existed because everyone received equal treatment under the law. 50 years ago, there was no debate about the constitution being a living document.

Politicians want to sit down and tell you about they want to bring back traditional and family values yet they are the same ones who enacted laws that helped to destroy traditional and family values. They want to tell you about how they plan to restore the more simple times that our grandparents enjoyed while adding additional taxes on us and taking away more of the choices we should be making for ourselves.

Traditions are disappearing left and right in this country. I saw on the television the other night that kids are not allowed celebrate Halloween in some of our public schools anymore. Going forward, it shall now be known as Fall Festival. Could someone please tell me why? Who in God’s creation does the term Halloween offend? Are we afraid that we will offend the witches or perhaps the goblins? It’s those damn mummies we are offending isn’t it. I knew this would happen when they unionized and were incorporated into SEIU.

The public use of the term Christmas is going away rapidly. Halloween is now under assault. What’s next, a single child has a nightmare about being attacked by the Easter Bunny and congress declares war on colored eggs?

What happened to my right to hold on to my traditions and beliefs? What happened to my right to express them publicly? In a couple of days from now you can bet your butts that when some kid comes to my door and says “Trick or Treat”, I’m not going to send him away with a “Happy Fall Festival”. Bull…….It’s called HALLOWEEN and it happens to be a tradition in this country that I rather enjoy. I enjoy it so much in its traditional sense that there is not one thing in or around my house that smiles. Not my witch, my grim reaper, my dead crypt keeper, my skeletons, bats, rats, spiders …..nothing smiles.

Come Christmas, I too use the traditional approach. Things in my yard say Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. A 6 foot Santa and two 5 foot penguins are in my yard. A cross is displayed in the window. Sorry all you die hard liberals out there….no Happy Winter Holidays displayed at my house.

No wonder family values are declining, morals are declining, laws no longer are being made out of necessity or overall welfare for public as a whole. Hell, if we can’t keep our own holiday traditions actually traditional, how can we expect to keep America the Land of the Free.

Attacks and violations of decorum

Obviously certain left wing crazies have decided to attack this site, so I need to repost this article......read it and understand it!



At the end of last week, the Obama Administration launched an attack on Fox News, by name. They feel that they are being treated rather roughly by Fox and so they have put all the pitbulls in the White House at their disposal.



To begin with, the Pew Foundation did an investigation that clearly showed that Fox’s claims of being “fair and balanced,” are more true than ANY other news organization, cable or otherwise. With that being said, and the clear path that Obama has taken, starting in his campaign, urging his followers to “jump into your neighbors face,” to get them to vote for Obama. This was by far the most aggressive statement ever made by a candidate for President to date. Now he wants to sinlence dissent.



From his inauguration to now, President Obama has a very clear record of lying. I did an article about this just last week, and to be very honest it was a very incomplete record only encompassing 158 of the earliest lies. With such a clear record of lies, and even the Congressional Budget Office saying that what Obama is saying isn’t the truth, why exactly should we believe him?



This aggressive behavior is even shown here! If I write an article on the Examiner that some left wing follower doesn’t like, I personally get attacked, as well as the people who believe the same things I do if they comment in support. There is a way to comment without being aggressive, and to be honest, if that “decorum” isn’t followed in the future on my articles, I will remove them.



This isn’t a 1st Amendment violation, this is a civil violation. I am tired of personal threats, personal attacks on me, and personal attacks on my loyal readers, and yes, I talk to most of them on a weekly basis, so when a left winger attacks them they are attacking me too, because they are not only readers, they are friends.



So often I sit here and just watch while less than a handful of left wingers bash and fight my loyal readers in an aggressive manner. This will stop I can promise you. You can all agree to disagree, and that is the preferred way to civilly handle the situation. To do what the Obama Administration sees as an accepted way to do battle, will not wash with me. If you want to act aggressively, go comment on your buddies articles under the liberal banner. I don’t troll on liberal’s articles, and I don’t expect them to troll on my articles.

No “bluedog” Democrats in Maryland!

The term “bluedog democrats” describes Democrats who are not progressives, but rather Democrats who are left of center. For our governmental system to work, we need to find areas of common concern and keep the idea of compromise close to our hearts.

It doesn’t matter whether the bluedogs are that way because of fear of losing a future election if they don’t vote in favor of their constituents or not. Fear can be good! In my home state of Maryland, we have NO bluedogs, we have no politicians who are fearful of voters.

Our senators Ben Cardin and Barbara Mikulski, constantly thumb their noses at any suggestions or comments from Republican voters, or for that matter anyone who isn’t of a progressive Democratic mindset. Let’s start with Ben Cardin, a senator who was basically handed his seat from Paul Sarbanes. At his “Townhall meeting” this summer on healthcare, after many underhanded tricks to “stack the room with friendly faces,” and run the meeting with the help of SEIU, and ACORN employees, he admitted that he hadn’t at that time read the house version ( HR 3200). Yet he wanted to try to tell his constituents why the bill was needed!

This is hypocrisy plain and simple, Cardin and Mikulski have conspired together to make Maryland the second most medical mandated state in the country next to Rhode Island. The more health mandates a state has the more expensive healthcare will be in that state. Let me rephrase that, the more expensive health care will be for those who PAY for it! The two of them have driven the cost of health care to the moon for hard working paying voters in Maryland, but alas, they think you are too stupid to know that. Mikulski has also voted against letting the voters of this country even see the healthcare bill for 72 hours that they will vote on………..on our behalf!

In Maryland it’s as if or representatives are made rather than voted for. Our senators have always seemed to have been rubber stamps for one another, we need balance, the Republicans of this state need a voice, and it’s time for the voters to make a difference. Barbara Mikulski needs to be replaced, she will be up for re-election in 2010, and it’s damn time she be put out to pasture with her idol and mentor Paul Sarbanes. She has been a senator for 30 years, she has done enough damage for any one person, she has a wonderful retirement system, (one we will never have), and healthcare insurance we could never get………so let’s toss the old pork barrel girl out!

Unless you are in denial about wrinkles, hair loss or aging in general, the only person on this planet that is going to agree with you 100% of the time is that person you look at in the mirror every morning. I argue every morning with my mirror telling it to stop showing me someone else’s face. To date, my mirror has never listened or done what I have asked.

Opinions are as unique to us as our fingerprints are. During our lifespan, we will form countless thousands of them. We may share similar thoughts on certain subjects, but no two people are going to think the same way all the time. Rarely are two opinions formed by two different people for the exact same reason.

Now on Al’s page http://www.alspoliticalview.blogspot.com/ he lists some of his opinions. Some of those listed I agree with and some I do not and I’m willing to bet that none of them were formed with the exact same reasoning in mind. I went through Al’s list and here is what I came up with comparing my beliefs / opinions with his:

Mostly Disagreed: 3 times
Strongly Disagreed: 3 times

So, why did I make the comparison of opinions? Perhaps it was to prove a point that no two people are alike. Perhaps it was to say that no matter what we agree or disagree on, to disrespect another for their difference of opinion is wrong in so many different ways. In my mind, there is a zero percent chance that Al is going to throw a fit and call me names and delete any and all post I make on his Examiner page just because I don’t agree 100% of the time with him. It’s sad when our own President lacks that same maturity level.

The White House’s war on FOX News is pathetic to say the least. The entire administration is acting like a bunch of spoiled 4 year olds who have never once been told no or slapped on the hand for doing anything wrong. Why don’t they just come out and say in plain language that because FOX News doesn’t fully support the administration’s agenda they are going to take their ball home and not play with FOX anymore.

The administration knows that two wrongs do not make a right and if FOX News or any conservative politician acted in the same manner, they would be hammered by both sides. The administration also knows that no matter what childish type acts they make, they will never lose their ACORN, SEIU, Soros, UAW, AFL-CIO, ACLU, the rest of the media and other far left groups and individuals so long as they still have the President’s ear.


900 Million dollars in campaign financing and donations went to the Obama campaign. Self proclaimed Marxist within the campaign admit to controlling the media. Media admitting that they didn’t have the time or resources to verify their own stories. General Electric standing to make multi-billions from this administration and throwing the weight of NBC, CNBC & MSNBC behind his candidacy, They all want paid back and Team Obama is giving them everything they want on the backs of the tax payers.

These are sad times here in America. You know they are when more and more, the world is starting to feel sorry for the citizens of the United States for the actions of our own government and for the path they are dragging this country down.

One question: Our form of government was supposed to set up in a manner where no one branch could become more powerful than the other and all branches were to operate within the restraints of the constitution. Where the hell is the Judicial Branch and why have they allowed the Executive Branch to amass so much power and why have they allowed the Executive and Legislative Branches to circumvent the constitution at will without so much as a peep?

During the Civil War, General Robert E. Lee won battle after battle for all but the last bit of the war. He won those battles even though he was usually outnumbered and out gunned. Two main factors made him one of the most successful generals in American history: 1) He was beloved by his troops. He would do anything for them and likewise they would do anything for him and 2) His soldiers were defending their home land and sometimes even their own houses. Both are great motivators which are not easily overcome by an enemy.

In World War II, General George Patton’s Army Corps killed more enemy soldiers and captured more territory than any commander on either side even though he was relieved of command for several months. His troops would follow him to hell and back because they knew that they were fighting for arguably the greatest field commander ever to set foot on a battlefield and with him, there was no stopping and regrouping to have to fight for the same territory twice. He did not believe in retreat.

There are other great commanders that served in our military: General(s) Pershing, MacArthur, Grant, Jackson, Sherman, Bradley and Admiral(s) Nimitz and Spruance. These men knew how to lead.

Only two great Field Commanders have emerged since the end of World War II, General(s) Norman Swartzkoff and Tommy Franks. I could add General Petraus but am holding out on this one for a while longer. While most spend their time trying to figure out how to gain recognition and favor from the Commander – in – Chief as well as prestige and good press, Swartzkoff and Franks really didn’t care about either, they followed their orders and got the job done.

What did all these men have in common? They had presidents that did not get in their way or micromanage them on how they achieved their objectives. They also didn’t have their own inflated egos to get in the way though in Patton’s case, he did have a huge ego to feed but that was his own motivational factor.

Truman (Korean War Era), Johnson, Carter, Clinton and now Obama have all stood in the way of our commanders. They tie their hands by denying them troops and equipment essential to meeting the objectives they demand be achieved. They dictate who they can fight, when they can fight and how they will fight. They care more about their own legacies and how the world will view them than they do accomplishing the mission.

Brave men die in battle. That is an unavoidable part of war. Brave men needlessly die in battle when they lack the proper support and equipment to get the job done. General McCrystal, a man with a rather impressive military record and success and hand picked by this President to lead the effort in Afghanistan asked for additional troops back in August to do the job Obama gave him to do. Here we are nearing the end of October and Obama has yet to address this issue with any sense of urgency or necessity. In the 9 months since Obama took office, more soldiers have died in Iraq and Afghanistan than did in the preceding two years under George Bush. The mainstream media made it a point to highlight every death while Bush was in office but not a peep from them now when our soldiers are dying at an even faster rate. Lack of leadership and desire for victory is more damaging to a military unit than an enemy of greater or equal strength.

Advice to Obama: Lead, Follow or better yet, just get the hell out of the way and let our soldiers do their job. Success comes from the top down and Mr. President, so does failure.

Many types of cancer are curable if detected early. Two ways of treating cancer is with radiation or cutting it out. I doubt that anyone would disagree with me calling Washington DC “America’s Cancer”. Since we can’t nuke it, perhaps we should cut it out.

Cancer occurs when the cells start mutating and no longer do the jobs they were intended to do. Washington DC has mutated and no longer doing the job it was intended to do. The cells in our bodies, like in all forms of life work together to give us what we need to sustain that life. When enough of the cells die, we die or become limited in some or all of our capacities. Does this sound like what Washington DC is doing to us? Those serving in the higher positions of the federal government could care less about this country. We support them with out taxes yet they do not believe that they should answer to us. We support them, they support only themselves.

I think it’s time to cut the cancer out of America. Think about this for a moment. The District of Columbia is not its own state. In truth, it is nothing but a place that sucks up cash from its host kind of like a mosquito sucks up blood. The only difference between the two is we can kill a mosquito.

In truth, our constitution says we can kill off Washington DC as well. It would be a miracle if it were to happen because it would take a 2/3’s majority of the nation’s governors to call for and support a constitutional convention. Insert new amendments that further restrict the federal government as it was intended to be and be able to institute recall powers of all elected federal officials. Wishful thinking I know but miracles have happened before.

This nation was founded because of the way we were being treated by England. We now have our government that treats its citizens worse that an alcoholic treats a stepchild. 2/3’s is all it takes and they can decide to eliminate everyone in congress, temporarily appoint their own replacements until elections can be held and we as a nation can start all over again and get back the republic that we once were.

I don’t know about you but I am tired of supporting Washington, DC with my tax dollars and getting noting but screwed by them in return without so much as a kiss.

White House shutting down transparency

New mandates from the White House are being put in place to deny access to many things the President saw as “transparency” just 10 months ago. Just a few weeks ago the White House has denied access to the White House itself, by denying interviews with anyone of power to Fox News.

The White House has started an attack on the one station that actually shows BOTH sides of the issues, and has lauded networks such as, ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, and laughably MSNBC as REAL news stations. It seems that President has once again offered up three sacrificial cows, Axelrod, Emanuel, and Dunn, to be the ones who vilify one station, and one station alone. We understand you don’t like Glenn Beck Mr. President, but to make a blanket claim that Fox News isn’t a real new network is laughable. You vilify Beck, Hannity and O’Reilly, and yet approve of Keith Olbermann, Chris Matthews, and Rachel Maddow? You are joking right? Say what you really mean, the White House doesn't approve of the views of SOME of Fox News's roundup, so you denounce them all. Even I don't like all the people on Fox News, in fact maybe as high as 40%, but they do offer both views..........something the stations you like don't do!

News reporters over the weekend have now been denied access to all detainees in overseas detention centers. In an effort to control the media as a whole, the White House has gradually reduced access of government since the inauguration. Mrs. Dunn, your own communications director has bragged about controlling the media. Even C-Span televised meetings are being limited. The Healthcare Reform’s meeting of six is behind closed doors. The Senate voted down a mandate to make the Healthcare Reform available to the public for 72 hours before the final vote…………Where is this transparency Mr. Obama?

Yes, I used the title of an AC/DC song as my title for this. I actually like the song and I find it very fitting for today.

Thunder Struck is just how the far left is feeling right now. For countless years they have been able to run around and say or do anything they please and most conservatives just sat back and let them do what they wanted with little to no interference or complaints. Then in November 2008, Barack Obama is elected President and the left rejoiced for they got the President they wanted and needed to move forth with their socialist agenda, for they knew that even though he campaigned as a moderate during the general election, the true radical Obama would eventually emerge.

Something not seen in this country since the Civil War suddenly happened at the end of January 2009. With the very first stroke of his pen, President Obama caused this nation to be more divided than it had been for the previous 125 years. Not only has racial divisions grown to a point greater than what was seen in the late 60’s and early 70’s, but now divisions have grown between conservatives and liberals equal to the 10 years preceding the Civil War when Northerner and Southerners were bitterly fighting over states rights verses federal powers.

The country today is nothing but divided no matter how you look at it: Black against White, White against White, Black against Black, Hispanic against Black, Hispanic against White, Legal Hispanics against Illegal Hispanics, Muslims against Christians, Christians against Atheist, and Gays against Heterosexuals. At no time in MY lifetime has this nation ever been so divided.

What happened to the promise that Obama was going to be the great healer?

Thunder Struck was due to happen but lacked the fuel to ignite it. Obama provided that fuel and got more than what he or the left or anyone for that matter thought possible. Atheist, Gays, Blacks, Whites, Muslims, Liberals, Hispanics, they all have had to take a step back because conservatives had suddenly decided they have had enough. No more being a door mat to be stepped on. No more being pushed around and then be expected to turn the other cheek. No more trying to combat ideology calmly using soft spoken facts. No, conservatives and Christians had reached the boiling point. Every person and group with a leftist, socialist, atheist racial or sexual preference agenda were suddenly Thunder Struck because conservatives started coming out of hiding and no longer turning the cheek. These people had never known resistance to come at them pushing back as hard if not harder than they themselves pushed. Conservatives had to this point shouted resistance or used megaphones to let their voices be heard.

The great healer my BUTT! Every passing day, one of his lackeys, if not himself, will say or do something that irritates about half this country. Does he care? I doubt it. He has shown or done nothing that would indicate that he has the good of America at heart. He is just proving to everyone that he is nothing more than or see past that of a glorified socialist community organizer who happens to have a Harvard education thanks to affirmative action and very good speech writers.

Americans for months now have been demonstrating their frustrations over this President and this administration. What response do those shrinking numbers who support him have for those who do not, name calling and using intimidation tactics. They have yet to figure out a way to shut up the opposition. Now they have even sunk to a new low and using the White House to declare that FOX News is the right arm of the Republican Party and are continually using lies and half truths to spin and prop up negative reports. Do they offer a single shred of evidence? Of course they can’t because it does not exist. So, they throw temper tantrums and call people liars, racist, mobsters, obstructionist and everything else under the sun that will not get edited out of the evening news and use words that do get edited out when speaking they think no one is listening.

The far liberal left has yet to figure out how to deal with angry moms and grandmothers that who used to remain silent but now speak loudly and clearly and most importantly, factually that they do not like or trust this government to handle health care or anything else and why they do not.

Yes, the left has been Thunder Struck by and educated and informed America who is pushing back and they don’t like it.
