Bill Richardson removes himself from cabinet bid

New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson, as James Carville described as “Judas”, after he abandoned Hillary Clinton in the primary campaign, has now removed himself from the Secretary of Commerce bid.

In the wake of a grand jury investigation on yet another “pay to play” scheme of hiding campaign donations in exchange for state work bids, either Bill Richardson, or Barack Obama has decided just maybe that extra heat isn’t welcome in the presidential-elect‘s cabinet.

While the controversy hasn’t yet calmed in the IL Governor Blagojevich and the Chicago boys' club, this new question has surfaced about yet another Democratic “friend.”

The Teflon skin of Senator Barack Obama has been successful so far in distancing himself from his questionable friends. Unfortunately for him his potential hiring pool is shrinking at an accelerated rate.

Although Obama has been silent in this matter so far, I predict it won’t be long before he throws Richardson under the bus, as he has so many times in the past. Democrats will once again rationalize his behavior, and the list will extend once more, to someone “he barely knew”
