The FAST EZ EFI has thrown me for a real loop. Thankfully Bryan Pitcher in tech has been working with me to wring out all the bugs. Initially the system was constantly logging O2 codes and stalling……then restart when hot was very hard sometimes up to 40 seconds. Bryan had me enter into the “info” screen and tell him what the “RFI  “ count was….it was 102 which said there was RFI interference the code should have read 00. Bryan explained that the wires needed to be replaced, so I replaced them with Spiro wrap Taylor wires and that remedied the problem, but the stalling and code logging persisted. The next conversation revolved around trying to increase the voltage to the pink wire while cranking. The Camino was actually going as low as 7.9 volts while cranking when hot. Surprisingly enough the starter speed was still fast, so this caused mixed signals. Bryan told me that the system actually needs 10 volts on cranking at a minimum, other-wise the system would act confused and throw codes and have erratic idling.

 

Begrudgingly I replaced a battery that was originally rated at 535 CCA and replaced it with a 700 CCA model. Sadly the suggested fixes by FAST haven’t made much of a difference. I have now spent over $300 to rebuild an alternator, replace the ignition wires, replace the cap and rotor,  and to replace the battery. Bryan Pitcher has suggested many things to fix a “radio interference” problem that even the computer doesn’t see anymore. I have done everything he has suggested and yet the car still stalls and sets an O2 code every time after exiting an expressway. Finally I have elected to send the ECU back to FAST to have it checked out, even though Bryan tells me that he’s certain that nothing is wrong with it. 

When looking for an electronic fuel injection management system for my last car I called FAST and asked if I could purchase a FAST XFI ECU and connector to have my fuel injection guy make a harness for my car. At the time they explained to me that I would have to buy their harness because it was RFI protected and wrapped. Now I have purchased their complete system in the EZ EFI kit (complete from fuel system to ECU and harness, and yet somehow they have not protected THIS harness from radio interference. Maybe I’m being cynical here but I have made every change they have asked for. Originally I spent about 15 hours installing the system, and now I have spent another 15 hrs making changes that they required. In addition to that I have spent over 10 hrs on the tech line with Bryan trying to fix something he insists is the vehicle’s “fault.”  

The EZ EFI comes in two forms, the 1.0 as FAST calls it which is the one I have, and the 2.0 which is a few hundred dollars more. Supposedly the 2.0 is more sophisticated but before I purchased I looked online for reviews of both systems. I virtually found no bad reviews on the 1.0 system. The 2.0 was another story as it has a small port in the ECU that accepts an SD card. This is the port for you to download a software update from their website to upgrade to the latest software. As of December 2013 there had already been 5 updates for the 2.0 system and the reviews were anything but flattering. I decided to purchase the 1.0 instead even though there is no way to update the ECU unless you were to return it to the factory and have it reflashed. My unit had not been sitting on the shelf at a speed shop as the software had been installed just days before I received it. I have been messing with this system now for 8 weeks to no avail, hopefully when the ECU comes back it will work. 



Unfortunately the return of the ECU has shown no improvement. It has been a tough decision but I have decided to remove the fuel injection. Repeated tries have yielded nothing in a positive way. Atlanticspeed.com has shown a real commitment to help me with this problem, as they were the original dealer that I purchased the FAST system from. They have agreed with me and have credited the entire system and supplied me with the new carburetor and associated parts for the changeover. I am disappointed in the treatment I have received from FAST on the tech end. Repeatedly they have claimed the problems are being caused by RFI interference even though the logging system built into the unit says otherwise. I have replaced the plug wires, the battery and the alternator on Bryan’s insistence all to no avail. If this IS an RFI problem, I have to wonder why this whole system doesn’t have shielding built into the harness rather than to blame the vehicle for the erratic behavior.

I have heard multiple times that “We have over 10,000 units on the road trouble free.” I feel insulted every time someone says either that or “We have never seen that problem before.” We have all heard this from time to time when talking to a company about a problem we are having with one of their products, and honestly I expect more from Comp Cams, a parent company of FAST.  Also a deciding factor in this removal is……..What if something were to fail in this system 300 miles from home? Which would be easier to fix, a car with a carburetor or a car with an aftermarket fuel injection system?

Because the new owner of this car is not all that fuel injection savvy I am opting for the removal of the fuel injection and the addition of an Edelbrock #1400 carburetor. This carburetor is calibrated for fuel economy and comes with an electric choke. In the next few weeks I will update the pictures and continue with the technical aspect. Stay tuned!

Recent events have me convinced that president Obama is out to destroy the political system here in America.

What President has ever outlined how the U.S. military can be used against American citizens short of outright anarchy? Isn’t it the job of police to control rioting and outright criminal acts? Before now, if a city was having a problem the police could not handle, the mayor or other authorized city executive was supposed to request assistance from the governor of that state. It was them up to the governor to determine if the state police, national guard and or other agencies and assets would be deployed.  

Obama’s policy, with Eric Holder as Attorney General can unilaterally decide to unleash the military on American citizens for anything the Federal Government determines is justified. This policy has so much gray area, almost any reason from a city riot to a Tea Party rally all the way down to local political organizers having a BBQ at someone’s house can be squashed and people arrested and held without cause for such a time as the administration determines.  

But Kevin, you know this will never happen. Really?

Who does this administration believe are domestic terrorist? According to Nancy Pelosi, Tea Party members are domestic terrorist. According to Dick Durbin, those in congress that democrats blamed for the October 2013 government shutdown are domestic terrorist even though the democrats actually did the shutting down. According to the DoD before finally being removed from training manuals, religious organizations are domestic terrorist. Debbie Wassermann Schultz has stated that white majority groups that claim to believe in liberty are terrorists. Then of course let’s not forget our President’s belief that the Occupy Wall Street people were faithful Americans just exercising their rights to free speech. 

Federal law enforcement agencies have almost doubled in size since Obama was sworn in as President. Since then, their budgets have exploded with the only exceptions being Border Patrol and ICE. The federal government has stockpiled more than 1 BILLION rounds of ammunition over the past couple of years and have even more still on backorder.

President Obama pushed congress hard in 2009 for comprehensive immigration reform, or what is better known as blanket amnesty and expedited pathways to citizenship. With control of both houses, many in the House and just enough in the senate refused to pass it out of fear of the American voter. The liberal, socialist, fascist, communist part of the Democrat party know if they could get enough illegals into the United States and on welfare, they would not lose power for some time until after the dollar finally crashes and those freedoms and liberties of the American populous has been limited. Despite their best efforts including the Executive Order President Obama circumventing congress and signed allowing “Dreamers” to live here legally and have all the benefits the government welfare system can bestow on them, they are still short of their goal because the private sector has refused to collapse in face of all the efforts of this administration.    

But Kevin, they didn’t break the back of the political system.

The three greatest weapons in any liberal’s arsenal are RACISM, CLASS WARFARE & CHILDREN. How many times have we seen the race card played in the past 5 years? So much it is now being ignored by a growing number of the mainstream media. In a few cases, even moderate blacks like Stephen A. Smith is not falling for it in all instances. Class Warfare has even taken some hits in the media and even by a few moderate democrats lately because the Obama administration has been caught doing some of the same practices they claim to be fighting, paying women less, limiting the elderly of certain medical and financial assistance, paying out billions in bonuses to upper level management in spite of failures, scandals, mismanagement and the unnecessary deaths of 40 veterans because the VA thought new furniture was a higher priority than actual medical care. As for the “Dreamers”, you know it’s all about the children. They were dragged here by their parents due to no fault of their own and we have to be good stewards and care for them………. It takes a village you know (Hillary Clinton).  

So what is left? Well, no one likes to see children suffer, so now we have an unwritten open border policy for all children coming to the U.S., an estimated 180,000 for 2014-2015 alone. A whole new voting black by themselves has been created. Many close to marrying age so they will be reproducing soon, a new generation completely dependent upon government for all their needs. Doesn’t that sound like what Hitler and Stalin wanted when they rose to power? So, who are these Dreamers, these new adolescent illegals and their offspring going to vote for? The ones who keep allowing them to live here free from working while enjoying a lifestyle better than the ones they left and certainly one better than those living in poverty in the rest of the world enjoy. Most will not even try to better themselves, they are content to live as they do and will continue to vote for those who allow them to. In the meantime, the dollar will continue to get weaker because of the burden these people place on the system. And those they vote for will continue the practice of keeping themselves in power instead of correcting the system.

I have been the owner of a 1965 El Camino for over 10 years, and to be honest it’s become dated. The original hi-compression (11 to 1) over cammed engine has become finicky and almost impossible to tune with today’s gas, and the iron heads certainly have promoted detonation. The M-20 4 speed trans and the 3:73 rear axle have teamed up with the engine to return a miserable 11 MPG with a light right foot on the highway and an even more miserable 8MPG around town. If all my modifications work the way I intend them to, I expect my fuel mileage to increase to 25MPG.

In today’s demands for economy and performance this is unacceptable. What can be done with a typical small block that most consider a poor candidate some two engine series ago? There is no doubt that a better candidate would have been an LT-1 to LT-4 series or better still an LS series engine complete with fuel injection. 

What do you do when all your surplus parts revolve around the basic 350 engine? Do you discard all those parts and go with an updated engine assembly, or do you update and refine a tried and true engine combo? My answer was simple, apply todays technologies to the old tried and true 350, and I’ll tell you about my path and part selection as we go along.  

To begin with today’s cars rely on lighter weight materials to create a more gas mileage friendly package. Although I could swap parts of the El Camino for fiberglass or carbon fiber, the return of gas savings vs cost of purchase doesn’t make that a viable option. The weight of the El Camino is -------- and although that is no light weight, it rivals most mid-size cars today. Another problem is aerodynamic drag and the front end of a 1965 El Camino is certainly no 2014 Corvette! Unfortunately there isn’t much we can do about that other than maybe add a front spoiler, but we will handle that at a later point in time as we fine tune the combo.

The engine a 040 over 350 will displace 357 cu in. It has a factory forged crank and will house Mahle slightly dished pistons (approx. 9 to 1) that will have a low drag coated skirt and thin rings. This will allow me to run 87 octane fuel another target of mine. I will also be using a 6.0 rod. AFR heads will promote a swirl port design (65 cc) and will have a small high velocity runner 180cc part number #916. This head features a straight plug design to be used with the existing cast iron manifolds that I had extrude honed years ago and work very well. I will be using a state of the art hydraulic roller camshaft from Comp Cams. No standard on the shelf design has a primary intent to give high miles per gallon so a custom grind had to be made, and these are the specifications, .500 on both the intake and exhaust with the 1.6 rockers, duration is 194 degrees on the intake and 206 on the exhaust, and the overlap is 110 degrees. The heads will be ordered direct from AFR with lower weight beehive type LS valve springs set at 125lb. seat pressure. Everything that is low friction will be utilized including bearings and rings and things like a Moroso oil pan with a built in windage tray. While initial break in will be done with a high zinc motor oil, it will be later changed to a full synthetic.

I will be using a factory dual plane 1969 Z-28 302 intake with a state of the art FAST EZ EFI fuel injection retrofit system. This system is an easy to install closed loop throttle body to replace the carburetor. Most of the electronics and sensors are hidden nicely within the design and are well hidden. It comes with a hand held programming screen that will have me up and running with minimal programming effort. Once running the system will be self-learning to maximize the ability to run with performance and fuel economy in mind. Once that system has learned the car, final micro tuning can be done to hit an exact A/F ratio set by the owner, perfect for my aim as an econo-machine! Although emissions aren’t considered in my state for a vehicle this old, I’m sure with the addition of catalytic convertors it would fall within acceptable parameters. Installation isn’t especially hard, just involved. The fuel system is supplied with the kit, 3/8 fuel injection compliant rubber hose with an assortment of press lock AN fittings. Luckily the car had a sump welded into the tank by a previous owner so the line kit could be easily setup from that point. The pump and filter is a simple affair and was attached to the gas tank crossmember.

A return line had to be used so the old feed line was used after a quick blow with an air gun to remove the nylon screen from the end in the tank. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The wiring harness has rather bulky connectors on both ends and FAST supplies you with a HUGE grommet for the firewall requiring a 2 1/8” hole to be drilled! Once the harness has been fed into the grommet you are left with ¾” of conduit in a 2” hole…..a tad much to “caulk.” I chose rather to buy a smaller grommet and feed all the connectors through the firewall individually to the underhood connections so I have less area to caulk.


  This certainly challenged my patience, but made for a much cleaner installation in an area that would be seen by the general public. Mounting the handheld controller for the unit proved difficult because of the curved dash for the 65 Chevelle. Although not required for daily operation, constant real time monitoring is a welcome relief to the idiot lights that was original equipment on the Chevelle. The controller has two cables, one for the telemetry and the other for power through a cigarette lighter. I have cut the lighter connection off and hard wired it into the fuse box. The controller will be mounted via Velcro to the bottom of the dash and a/c unit. Initial indications of self-learning were apparent right off the bat as the idle air controller took over and settled the engine speed to the preset idle rpm.

 A fitting for the oxygen sensor had to be drilled and welded into the head pipe after following the instructions for distance and angle, this seemed to be the best out of the way place for the installation. 


After almost 3 hours run time I had noticed that the cold start portion of the program left a lot to be desired, so I called the FAST tech number and explained the problem. He told me that the instructions needed rewriting concerning the adjustment for the throttle body blade adjustment. He wanted me to run the engine until hot and oxygen sensor was active. Then go to the live data section and observe the IAC count. He told me that if I had originally used the instructions to adjust them the count would be in the 30-40 range (which it was.) He told me to use the IAC count to adjust the throttle blades to somewhere in the 15-20 range. That seemed to help the cold start problems immensely. 

 

The idea is to build a high torque, low drag engine that will in all likelihood FEEL more powerful than the original engine. All these improvements will mean nothing if the final drive stays the same. As the car stands now the cruise RPM @ 60 MPH is close to 3000 RPM! That needs to be reduced, and to do that the M-20 4-speed is being replaced with a TKO 5 speed from American Powertrain. TKO builds these transmissions in either a 500 (500 ft. lb. of torque), and a 600 (600 ft. lb. of torque), because the transmissions come in close and wide ratio variations, I will be using the “600”, as it has a 2.87/1.89/1.28/1.00/.64 gear set. The “500” has a 3.27/1.98/1.34/1.00/.68 gear set, more appropriate to be used with axle gears nearer to 3:08’s.  I am purchasing a complete 10 ½”clutch system from American powertrains’ sister company “The Driven Man.” Another advantage is that it has a standard bell housing bolt pattern, so I can use it with my original bell housing and manual clutch linkage. Their final gear calculator shows a reduction of 32% in rpm @ 60 MPH giving me a final RPM of 1800, getting me far closer to my final goal. My wheels will be updated eventually and replaced to give me a taller tire than I presently have, and that in turn will lower my final RPM even further! 

Other companies had told me that the TKO Tremec transmission wouldn’t fit into the “A” body GM car without major floor modifications. American Powertrain informed me that because of their factory approved transmission case streamlining program the modifications would be minimal at worst. I installed the transmission and bellhousing onto the engine to be installed as one unit. Because of additional length of the transmission this made the combined installation tricky to say the least. Even with my state of the art tilting engine crane the entire assembly had to be swung sideways to make it into the body combo. Once the transmission was in the tunnel things improved. Only one bolt touched inside the tunnel and the additional clearance was accomplished with a simple bottle jack and a piece of 5/8” round bar stock. The shifter is pretty cool and offers 16 different possible combinations to accommodate almost any body style.

The shifter (a short handled Hurst style clone) fit right into my existing factory style hole. The transmission requires a GM equivalent fluid to properly break in the synchronizer set, and 2 quarts were added to be later changed after proper break in procedure with an approved Mobil 1 synthetic. A custom driveshaft and yoke was supplied as part of the kit and after a few simple measurements, one arrived at my door within 3 days! A work of advice when ordering the driveshaft according to the instructions supplied with the kit…..subtract an inch from your final measurement as my driveshaft is a bit too long.

A custom polyurethane trans mount was supplied with the kit and after finding two non-supplied metric Allen headed fasteners the install was simple. The crossmember frame mounts had to be redrilled to accommodate the longer length of the transmission, but no big deal. The supplied clutch seems to have a bit more chatter than I’d prefer but it has a 200 mile break in period so I’ll wait until that period has passed before making my final judgment. The reverse light switch was faulty from the factory and a replacement had to be ordered. As it turns out the reverse light switch wasn’t bad. There were two electrical connections on the transmission, one on the end of the transmission tailshaft that had a harness attached and one farther up in the middle of the driver’s side that had no harness. The instructions never really said which one was the reverse light switch, and I had assumed that the one on the tailshaft was the reverse light switch, well you know what they say about the word “assume.” I now know it was the one in the middle of the trans on the driver’s side……..you have been warned! 

Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires will replace the original setup originally purchased 14 years ago. Michelins were picked for their longevity, rolling resistance and traction ratings on both dry and wet surfaces. 225 45R x 18 for the front and 245 45R x 18’s for the rear.

America, after defeating the British forces and driving them from the colonies, became a singular powerful influence in the world over a relatively short time. Powerful in terms of economy, industry, and, militarily. Such influence can only be attributed to it Declaration Of Independence from England July 4th, 1776, and its Constitution of September 17th, 1787

Unfortunately “We the People” have over the past 120 years lost control of our government, by allowing it to become too large; Its legislators have created too many laws, too many regulations, and worst of all a collectivistic, even cancerous dependence by much of the proletariat for their personal existence.

When our founders created our nations laws (contained within the Constitution) they did so using principles written in the holy scripture and common sense. Termed “natural law” because it was attributed to God. Sadly, however natural law and common sense have been replaced by a plethora of vapid codes, statutes, and regulations which are entirely void of comprehension by the average citizen. Left to lawyers and politicians the average person has lost interest and has become indifferent, disinterested in government, and thus, in large part, stealthily manipulated dependents of government. .

Today most sources of employment come from the government: federal, state, county, city, and municipal. Much of what we have become dependent upon from them could very well be administered by the private sector for less expense, and with much more efficiency, America has demonstrated that private enterprise, individuals, capitalists if you will, are the genuine creators of real wealth and jobs.

Government on the other hand must spend our money in order to keep inflation down. As a result waste becomes a necessary evil as we have discovered under the Obama administration. Taxes in general are sapping the energy, enthusiasm and soul from those who work hard to pay them.

Mr. Bernard Baruch, at the age of 93, upon presenting his papers to Princeton University, as printed in The New York Times on, May 11, 1964 wrote 50 years ago this month, “The role of government and its relationship to the individual has been changed so radically that today government is involved in almost every aspect of our lives.

“Political, economic and racial forces have developed which we have not yet learned to understand or control. If we are ever to master these forces, make certain that government will belong to the people, not the people to the government, and provide for the future better than the past, we must somehow learn from the experiences of the past.” AND now, the present!

It is a true fact of life that we have become numb to the reality that government is a consumer of wealth: government produces no wealth. As we go to the poles in June and November this year THINK, seriously! Do you really want the status quo? God help us, You know, He will.

Eric Holder seems to think he’s in the driver seat lately as a federally funded project expounds why America should harbor animosity towards “whites.” This is race baiting pure and simple. Let’s just for a minute assume he is right and whites and blacks share an equal distribution population wise in America. Is this a good thing to spend our money on? 

Divisiveness in America between races has now reached an all-time high because of two distinct reasons…Eric Holder Head of the Department of Justice, and Barack Obama our President. They are pushing an agenda of white Christian hatred and have been doing so for the last 5 ½ years. If the population of America was split 50/50 this would be bad enough but in actuality the population is 86/14% white to black. If we as citizens had seen the “White Entertainment Channel” or the “White Miss America” contest, or white children expounding “White Power” with a school as a back drop, African Americans would be livid. Yet every day we see racism shown by the black community and yet nothing is done about it. Why is that Mr. Holder? Does your personal position as an African American Secretary of Justice taint your view of the world? Has it tainted your view of cases that should have actually been prosecuted but weren’t? 

Let’s view the term “prejudice” to pre judge. In my twenties I think I had a pretty open view of the term, in fact I was a Democrat back then. Yes I know that surprises you….but I was! I viewed the world through rose colored glasses and ignored reality. Over the years we judge people on their past performance of their actions, and there are quite a few people of all ethnic backgrounds and religions that I view differently. I see this as “postjudice” not prejudice, and I’ll give you a few examples. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are two that I see in the same light. They both play the race card, and earn a living from it. They have both lied and cheated in the public eye, and neither has graduated from Divinity College, yet both claim the title of “Reverend.” I have NO respect for either one based entirely on their past actions that reflect a one way philosophy on race. 

Therefore my opinion of both these individuals is based on postjudice rather than prejudice. I see Muslims as the most likely religion to strike fear in the hearts of the Christian world because of some 15,000 attacks since 9/11 on nations that both coddle to their needs and others with abhor them. Their religion in my eyes had spawned hatred since the Munich Games, but of course that was just MY enlightening as attacks have been going on since the 4^th century. Is this prejudice on my part or postjudice? 

Because the illegal immigration has been going on for decades, we can’t lay the blame at any one administration’s feet, but…….. Barack Obama has chosen to take the path of ignoring the law on many fronts not just this segment. He keeps taking about immigration reform when the real issue should be enforcement of existing immigration law. Our country will never be safe until we can reign in our borders and bring those law breakers to justice. I must admit I can’t place the blame on illegals; they are only doing what they are allowed to do under our law. The 14^th amendment to our Constitution was originally enacted to give slaves citizenship. Yet the democrats have construed and twisted its meaning to allow “anchor babies” into this country causing immeasurable damage to the family units of Latina families. I understand this predicament but on the other hand I DON’T see the 14^th amendment as being the gateway to allowing such a travesty to occur. If this amendment had not been twisted in this way and allowed for anchor babies, we would NOT be in the situation we are in now. The anchor baby idea was passed under the Johnson Administration in 1965……Babies born to illegal alien mothers within U.S. borders are called anchor babies because under the 1965 immigration Act, they act as an anchor that pulls the illegal alien mother and eventually a host of other relatives into permanent U.S. residency. If I have to place a postjudice on this action I’d have to place it on President Johnson who signed the law into action. Now Illegals who continue over the border now only share a small portion of responsibility because President Obama could stop this porous border problem in the stroke of his pen but chooses not to. 

Prejudice, it’s s strong word, it’s a divisive word, and more to the point it’s an incendiary word. It sparks hatred and anger, but just be aware America, look up the word racism in the dictionary. Nowhere does it claim who is the victim, it works both ways! Let's have a discussion on Race, but let's not have it a one sided discussion like it is now!

It’s been three years since Obama declared, “Osama Bin Laden has finally been brought to justice.”  He declared so to reaffirm his war on terror without formally declaring so. It’s a sad state of affairs when our own President can’t formally declare the Muslim world as our enemy. He continually defends the Islamic nations and vilifies the Christian world as the enemy. 

We have to wonder what our President’s allegiance actually is. Although he claimed that “he” killed Osama Bin Laden when it was actually the heroes from Seal Team Six. The records of the secrecy of all special ops teams are sealed, so we will NEVER know how many team members there were, but we do know however that at least 16 members were killed after the attack on Bin Laden’s liar in Pakistan. Certain pundits declare that it was Joe Biden who was directly responsible for the deaths of the members of Seal Team Six because of the announcement of the transport of seal team members in a slow moving Chinook helicopter in a war torn country. 

The facts remain………Osama Bin Laden is dead, but not because of Barack Obama, he never raised a weapon, he only gave the final command to kill him, much to the consternation of many of his compatriots. But three years after the much lauded “killing,” the fact remains that most of, (we can only assume that 90% of those responsible for Osama Bin Laden’s death” are now deceased themselves. 

The biggest question is why?

REMEMBER..... "Overwhelm the system" that I've written about for years?

This concept, by Obama’s mentors, inspiration and guiding light into the abyss of Socialism, is half of the basis of our current destruction direction in this country. The product of the Cloward-Piven approach to Socialism – two Columbia Univ. sociologists.

Add to this another subject of this writing, developed by one Saul Alinsky, and you start to see the influences destroying the once great America. Alinsky’s material was written for a destructive purpose. Not to advance our country. Not to empower citizenry with optimism and hope. Not to build and develop a better society. Not to create an everlasting power source for that “shining city on a hill.”

In reading these through you’ll see that it’s not just the goal to “take” from people, but to break their will, their spirit, their desire to live free. Rather to just exist under the blanket of government security and ongoing benefits.

In short, Alinsky’s rules are:

RULE 1: “Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.” Power is derived from 2 main sources – money and people.

RULE 2: “Never go outside the expertise of your people.” It results in confusion, fear and retreat. Feeling secure adds to the backbone of anyone.

RULE 3: “Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy.” Look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety and uncertainty.

RULE 4: “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.” If the rule is that every letter gets a reply, send 30,000 letters. You can kill them with this because no one can possibly obey all of their own rules

RULE 5: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating.

RULE 6: “A good tactic is one your people enjoy.” They’ll keep doing it without urging and come back to do more.

RULE 7: “A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.” Don’t become old news.

RULE 8: “Keep the pressure on. Never let up.” Keep trying new things to keep the opposition off balance.

RULE 9: “The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.” Imagination and ego can dream up many more consequences than any activist.

RULE 10: “If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive.” Violence from the other side can win the public to your side because the public sympathizes with the underdog.

RULE 11: “The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.” Never let the enemy score points because you’re caught without a solution to the problem.

RULE 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.”

Can you get the sensation of oppression? Can you recognize the opposing forces that are contrary to our ways of freedom and hope? Do you notice the controlling, almost slimy means of manipulation to gain power and influence?

Alinsky’s brand of revolution was not characterized by dramatic, sweeping, overnight transformations of social institutions. As Richard Poe expressed it, “Alinsky viewed revolution as a slow, patient process. The trick was to penetrate existing institutions such as churches, unions and political parties.”

To appeal to the middle class, Alinsky believed, “goals must be phrased in general terms like ‘Liberty, Equality, Fraternity’; ‘Of the Common Welfare’; ‘Pursuit of happiness’; or ‘Bread and Peace.’” And who better to manipulate and control than those dependent on government and unaware of your real agenda?

Barry Soetoro, AKA Barack Hussein Obama, AKA “whatever his name is today”, is living proof, the real life embodiment of a radical alliance, a true allegiance to the destructive influences of Cloward & Piven, Saul Alinsky, Communism, Socialism, Marxism, and Fascism.

As part of destroying America EVERYTHING this occupier of the White House does is to take down our society, to enact these rules in his approach to campaigning, to ruling, to controlling, to lying to the American public.

Nothing is below this president in his approach to openly lying, manipulating, changing laws and promoting his fascist agenda to “fundamentally change America.” Heard that before?

To destroy America, you need to develop those Alinsky confrontations, promote the infiltrations and then “overwhelm the system,” and it is realized in five years of recent Democratic governance.

**OVERWHELM THE SYSTEM by imposing new taxes and regulations to drain our monetary resources thereby reducing citizens ability to enjoy life, provide for their family, even resist the onslaught of intrusive actions should it be necessary.
**OVERWHELM THE SYSTEM by adding millions to a now inefficient, broken healthcare system causing medial chaos, raising costs, costing jobs, and anxiety. All while taking from citizens who had insurance but now find they don’t OR the costs are becoming intolerable. Again – monetary control.
**OVERWHELM THE SYSTEM by releasing 68,000 illegal aliens to roam our streets causing crime and mayhem thereby overwhelming law enforcement and taking them away from their normal duties of protecting the people.
**OVERWHELM THE SYSTEM by rigging elections, causing distrust in the government and the system, and placing your cohorts in offices to further the cause of disruption and socialism.
**OVERWHELM THE SYSTEM by aiding the dependence on the government through social welfare and entitlement programs draining resources and wealth from working citizens reducing their quality of life and will to survive and enjoy, and ability to resist.
**OVERWHELM THE SYSTEM by reducing the education level of students by introducing a new system of teaching meant to denigrate America, destroying and wiping out our history, complicating the proven methods of teaching.
**OVERWHELM THE SYSTEM by releasing thousands of convicted drug dealers (and these aren't just users) and allowing them to invade society with their illegal activities again which is now easier because they.......
**OVERWHELM THE SYSTEM by allowing and suggesting that local law enforcement NOT enforce laws that might take up time and take "rights" away from citizens all while.......
**OVERWHELM THE SYSTEM by increasing the "acceptance" and the "legality" of wide spread drug use by promoting laws to allow open and public use of marijuana as an introduction to other drugs and behaviors. Again aimed at the youth to undermine their assertiveness for success, their desire for achievement and acceptance of a lazy, more laid back, unproductive lifestyle.
**OVERWHELM THE SYSTEM by using unions and government agencies (EPA, BLM, IRS, DOE, Etc.) to disrupt people's lives and property adding stress, anxiety, expenses and distrust to people's everyday lives.
**OVERWHELM THE SYSTEM by destroying our military with social acceptance and tolerance of antisocial values, eliminating God, cutting budgets and support, and restricting ROE causing casualties, mental stress and placing our people in danger and increasing social problems once released, requiring more resources for health and mental care.
**OVERWHELM THE SYSTEM by dividing the country with racism, class warfare, and political oppression using governmental agencies to further increase social unrest, distrust and ultimately unproductiveness and lack of political opposition to this destructiveness.

Am I wrong? Am I not seeing the “positive-ness” of this administration? Am I missing some other really nice goals and pro-American accomplishments? I think not.

Got the idea yet how this “Purveyor Of Socialistic Nefariousness” is accomplishing his goals? Has this president not fostered an environment of destruction, encouraged the opportunities for radicals to seize our society and extinguish its flame of freedom for the future?

Is it not time for everyday America to wake up? To get educated on the real direction of this country? To recognize and understand the real agenda of this radical leadership?

It’s not just about a new tax, a different, better healthcare system or cleaner air and water. IT’S ABOUT CONTROL – a little tax here, a small regulation and land grab there, a smidgen of controversy and corruption over there. It’s a little bit at a time until, like the frog in the pot… you’re boiled.

The Bundy Ranch in Clark Co Nevada is just the latest example of just how out of control our government has become. Yes, Mr. Bundy does owe grazing fees to the government but to send 200 armed agents to his ranch is way over what any person with a bit of intelligence would do.

 

Why would an agency that law enforcement is not their priority send 200 armed agents and police trained dogs to a ranch owned and operated by peaceful individuals? It’s not like the Bundy family is notorious criminals who have a history of violence. Perhaps the BLM agents were looking to or instructed to instigate a physical confrontation to justify arresting various Bundy family members and confiscating their weapons and other personal articles? The reason is not clear and a truthful explanation will never be given as to the reasoning behind all the armed agents, but one thing was made clear, The Federal Government of the United States is completely out of control.

 

This is not the only land the BLM has restricted from ranchers, recreation enthusiast and nature lovers recently. This is just the most recent and the most covered by local and national news. There are many theories as to why the BLM came in so heavily armed. Some say it’s because Harry Reid has a vested interest in the land. Some have theories about rare mineral deposits on the land that the government has agreed to provide to China despite our own military and civilian needs for it. My theory on the whole thing is a simple one, water.

 

In every instance where the BLM has forced people off dry federal lands where water has been present. The city of Las Vegas is using water at an unsustainable rate. Lake Mead is ¼ smaller than it was just 15 years ago. More people are taking water from the Colorado River now than at any time in recent history. The Colorado River is a major water source for several western states including Nevada.

 

How best does a dictatorship control its people? Control the basic necessities of life. What is more basic than water?

For 23 years, I loved wearing the uniforms of the Army & Navy. I was proud and honored to be able to help defend this country and the constitution. I had great respect for most of the men and women I served with and when one got a promotion, even if I didn’t, I was happy for them. Many deserved them.

 

I loved almost everything about the military. For the first 17 years, it was fun. It was challenging beyond what most can imagine, but I loved being there. The last 6 years…….. 

The last 6 years of my military service, which ended in 2005, was filled almost daily with me and every other person having to watch what we say, watch what we do. Speaking your mind was a very dangerous thing to do. Political correctness was running rampant through the ranks. Racial and gender divisions had taken the place of unit cohesion. In 2003, I finally had been filled with enough lies and deceit by my department ranking senior enlisted, I went off exposing everything he stated 6 months earlier and how every one of his statements turned out to be false. I even provided specific examples of each. The ONLY reason I didn’t get busted down a rank and lose half a month’s pay for two months was because I never once insulted him or showed direct disrespect to his rank. I did lose the 2 of the 3 leadership positions I held at the time, but at that point, receiving that downgrade was a blessing. It meant I didn’t have to play politics every minute of every day. The two that relieved me and took over those positions, 2 weeks later each was cursing me because of the pressure they now had to deal with daily.  

In the military, people look to those senior to them to provide leadership. They expect them to do their jobs and support those working under them so they can do their job. Today’s military has no leadership. From the Commander-in-Chief down to the full bird colonels and Navy Captains, there is no leadership. There is no more keeping your people first and watching out for them. I have great respect for the O-3’s to the 0-1’s and from E-6 all the way down to the E-1’s of every branch of service. 15% of all the military leadership problems start at the E-7 and O-4 ranks. At this point, it’s no longer doing your job and looking out for those below you as they do theirs. It’s “how can I use these guys and girls to get promoted” and “whose ass do I need to kiss and how best to kiss it so I get my promotion.” 

I wonder how many of you think all this started when Obama took office. I never served under Obama (Thank You God). When I entered the service, Ronald Reagan hadn’t even served out his first year of being President. When I entered the service, those in leadership positions used to black-ball those of equal rank who used their positions and their people for their own personal gain. When I left, those leaders that still believed in working with their people and looking out for them were black-balled and given low marks by their superiors. I got ragged on by my equals and immediate supervisors plenty of times because I would help dust or mop the deck or even take out the trash myself instead of ordering someone else who was already busy to go and do it.  

Leadership at the top ranks is even worse. We no longer have generals and admirals who know what so much as a spine is much less have one. The United States military is being led by nothing more than “yes men” puppets to the administration in office. The Sec of Defense is a joke. He’s for nothing but making the military into the showcase idea of what a utopian socialist society is supposed to look like in the eyes of far left liberals. When I entered the military, the strategy was to be able to win a major war in the pacific and one in the Atlantic. When I left, the strategy was to win one major war and fight another to a draw until we could shift forces to that region. Now, who knows what the real strategy is. I don’t believe there really is one. We are still currently the world’s predominate superpower, but barely. A good example, if we had to fight China in the pacific and lowly wimpy France in Europe and the Atlantic, WE WOULD LOSE. This administration has canned the careers of almost every major ranking officer with combat experience. We have cut the training of our military to less than one third of what it was just 15 years ago. America’s REAL combat readiness is less than 40%. Broken and missing equipment, untrained soldiers and sailors, aircraft & ships awaiting parts, this is the military that is supposed to protect us and defend liberty. I don’t blame the E-1 to the E-6 or the O-1 to the O-3. They do their jobs the best they can and it’s them that catch hell for the failures of those that are supposed to be leading them. Complete Top Down Failure. Why….. 

 Two reasons why our military today is in such bad shape there is no way, given a choice, would I ever give my personal recommendation to anyone to join the armed forces. #1 Political Correctness. The military has completely gone off the charts in implementing regulations that give special treatment to those who are not a Caucasian Christian Male. A Native American can legally smoke pot if observing a tribal ritual. A Muslim has to be allowed to pray to Mecca when not in a combat situation while wearing a form of Muslim headdress in uniform. A Christian is not even allowed to have a bible displayed in the open unless physically reading it. Chaplains can resist performing a same sex marriage but if they do refuse and they are white, their careers are over. If they are of ancestry other than white European, they are verbally reprimanded the first time. From the President down to the vice deputy assistant to the secretary of every branch of service, you have no respect and no support. From the Joint Chiefs down to the O-4’s and E-7’s, you are nothing more than scum, only there to serve and make them look good. 

#2 Reason I have zero faith in military leadership: Loss of All Freedoms & Liberties. When I first joined the military, so long as you were not on a military installation and not in uniform, you could say almost anything to the press or anyone so long as you were not directly commenting about the President or telling national secrets. Now you can’t even say “my shop supervisor is a jerk” anywhere in public or place outside your own home without some form of punishment looming and if your supervisor is anything other than a white male, God Help You because the wrath of Establishment Political Correctness is going to be unleashed upon you. You have no freedom of speech. You do not have the right to carry a weapon on a military installation. You do not have the right to have a firearm in your house if you live in military housing regardless if it is on or off base. These are just a few examples. Prisoners have more rights than soldiers and sailors and it only continues to get worse. 

Congressman Moran from Virginia complained about not being able to live decently on $174,000 dollars base pay before you add in all the benefits that come with the office, yet our government is content to paying a E-3 with 2 years of service less than minimum wage even though he/she puts in easily 60 hours a week EVERY week that person is on the job. 

When it comes to our service men and women, this President and his entire administration from VP down to the lowest ranking appointee and roughly 75% of our congress despise what you do and don’t give a damn about you. You are nothing but a social experiment in their eyes. You are nothing but military medical subjects in their eyes. You are basically low paid slaves to every officer who has scrambled eggs on their cover and nothing but another doormat to be stepped on by the E-7, E-8 or E-9 who is looking to go higher.  

I had a wonderful Commanding Officer at my last command. I had the 3^rd worst Executive officer at my last command. I have worked for some great officers early on in my career and I have worked for complete arrogant idiots who couldn’t wipe their own butts if you gave them a manual with illustrated pictures.  

Those in uniform do not have the right to say anything remotely close to what I have because they have no freedom of speech. On THEIR BEHALF I have the freedom to write this and I did write it because ….. They Can’t, I Can.

Crime and corruption appear to be a major part of being a politician at all levels of government as evidenced this past week with the arrest of California State Senator Leland Yee for conspiracy to deal firearms and wire fraud, with links to Chinese criminal organizations tied to Hong Kong.

Nevada State Senator Harry Reid was recently caught trying to blame his granddaughter for misappropriation of political funds used by him for gifts to his political supporters and donors from her jewelry store. You and I would be sent to prison, Harry seems to believe because he is a high ranking senator all he has to do is pay the money back.

Add to this list Nancy Pelosi her husband's land deals and their millions in real estate investments, some not disclosed for political gain, and the list goes on. Personally I covet all politicians who get a very cushy retirement benefit that sets them up for life with a minimum of four years "service" (work?) that the working Joe could only dream of having in 30 to 35 years, if they are lucky.

One has to be completely brain dead and naive to not believe that the American tax payer is being shafted big time. To not see that a political career that grosses millions of dollars is not somehow connected to some mafia ties, political interest groups, or foreign interest of some type. Personally it makes my skin crawl to believe such as this is going on in our republic, but it is.

If it were possible to investigate the persons representing us, we would most likely find corruption of every sort is taking place. With the kind of investigating going on the world press today, that will not happen. Not, until someone with the financial backing, integrity and back bone to find truth, comes out of the woodwork and is willing to reveal the who, where, what and why politicians are becoming rich. This, while the rest of us are robbed by the IRS and treated like we, the workers, are ungrateful cheaters, not willing to give our "fair share".

While there appears to be a revival of sorts going on in the Christian World, and Hollywood in particular, what is really needed is for the people to question their personal character, Integrity and grit to see what they can do to stem the tidal wave of corruption around them.

We need to be informed and as knowledgeable as possible. Individual integrity should never be replaced by, collectivism in all its forms, as a substitute, in a Free society. It is up to each individual to embrace Liberty and freedom over slavery. For me the choice is simple. I choose FREEDOM. Let us get rid of the political demons and elect representatives that revere our constitutional heritage and religious ideals. Perhaps in some way we can do what the press is unwilling to do for us. Clean up the dirt in DC.
