When Does Someone Receive Secret Service Protection?

After the latest snub of Secret Service protection to Robert Kennedy Jr. I was curious as to who gets it and when. Do any of the Republican candidates have protection and when are they entitled to receive it?

What I found sort of shocked me. Now I know that every former President after Barack Obama has it for life but their families may be a different story.

The Secret Service was originally under control of the Treasury Department and a lot of their roles were intertwined with forgery and counterfeit money. In the last decades the Secret Service was handed over to the Department of Homeland Security.

I found this explanation in the article shown below and I thought that I would share it with my readers. Here are the highlights of the story.

The Secret Service provides protection to individuals in eight very specific circumstances, and they are these:  

• The president, the vice president, (or other individuals next in order of succession to the Office of the President), the president-elect and vice president-elect 
• Their immediate families  
• Former presidents, their spouses, except when the spouse re-marries 
• Children of former presidents until age 16 
• Visiting heads of foreign states or governments and their spouses traveling with them, other distinguished foreign visitors to the United States, and official representatives of the United States performing special missions abroad 
• Other individuals as designated per Executive Order of the President  
• National Special Security Events, when designated as such by the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security 
• Major presidential and vice presidential candidates, and their spouses within 120 days of a general presidential election 

Now the requirements for candidates has yet different requirements and are as follows.

• As defined in statute, the term "major presidential and vice presidential candidates" means those individuals identified as such by the Secretary of Homeland Security after consultation with an advisory committee. 

So that’s one way it happens. Here’s the other... In 1968 Congress acted to provide an automatic definition of what “major” is to take the subjectivity out of the process for most who do ultimately receive Secret Service Protection. It’s been amended over the years on a couple of occasions and currently reads: 

• Are pursuing the nomination of a qualified party, one whose presidential candidate received at least 10% of the popular vote in the prior election. 
• Are qualified for public matching funds of at least $100,000, and have raised at least $10 million in additional contributions. 
• Have received by April 1 of the election year an average of 5 percent in individual candidate preferences in the most recent national opinion polls by ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN, or have received at least 10 percent of the votes cast for all candidates in two same-day or consecutive primaries or caucuses. 

So as of today, there are only two presidential candidates who have Secret Service protection. The current and the former president. And as of today, based on established criteria, there are only two additional candidates who are on track to potentially qualify once we are within 120 days of next year’s election, or April 1st, and that’s RFK Jr. among Democrats and Ron DeSantis among Republicans. As of today, FDLE remains the security force which protects our governor and his family, wherever they go. Again, it’s always possible President Biden could sign an executive order mandating protection for additional candidates, or on an earlier timeframe based upon perceived security concerns, it’s also possible Homeland Security could make the call – however that’s rare. The only time this has happened since the enactment of the Congressional Act in 1968 was in 2007. Based on intelligence chatter that there could be credible threats to Barack Obama, officials provided him with Secret Service detail over a year and a half ahead of the 2008 Presidential Election. So that's who has protection, and who may have protection and when that’s most likely to occur if they do.

Biden Blames Climate Change on the Unvaccinated

Biden once again doubles down on stupidity. Never wanting to admit the massive failure of the Covid-19 “experimental” so called vaccinations, he never wants to stop blaming the unvaccinated for its failure.

From the once hidden Pfizer data we are now finding out that mortality rates increased on the vaccinated individuals but not on the unvaccinated, but that doesn’t keep him from vilifying the unvaccinated as a group.

Even his latest stance on asking soldiers back that had to be decided by the Supreme Court which certainly left Biden with a bitter taste in his mouth.

So the Biden Administration issued its Fifth National Climate assessment known as (NCA-5).

According to that report, future pandemics will become more likely, and worse as the projected impacts of climate change take effect.

Notice the word “projected” as if somehow all past “projections” have come true.

Also in the report they claim that “people can do more to save the planet by yielding to the government’s pandemic protocols.”

I have never read such doubling down on stupidity in my life, to try to connect the unvaccinated to climate change sounds like something Al Gore wrote.

Professor: Calls for Dismantlement and Decolonization of the US

I know you are already trying to wrap your head around this one but let’s give it a try! To begin with she is a Liberal Arts Professor at the University of Minnesota. Melanie Yazzie is of Navajo heritage and she was recently a key speaker at a Pro-Palestinian Rally.

She relates to the Palestinian people because she feels the all indigenous people in the US are under occupation by the US government.

Her further claim …. “"So it's our responsibility as people who are within the United States to go as hard as possible to decolonize this place, because that will reverberate all across the world," Yazzie said. "Because the U.S. is the greatest predator empire that has ever existed."

She wants all states to be broken free from the federal government, and she is also against capitalism.

She claims that Israel and the United States are one entity.

Good thing she is a Liberal Arts Professor and wields no power whatsoever. Maybe she is great in the art world, but I think she needs to stay out of the political realm.

Be Very Careful About Picking Your News Sources

I read an article the other day about an American that was found guilty of violating Russia oligarch sanctions. Embedded deep in the article was the revelation that he was a past FBI agent.

The article went on to say he was sentenced to 4 years in jail and fined $40,000. I first thought that what he received was a pretty light sentence and so I scrolled on to the next article.

This article was on a website called RT.com. Although I had read articles on that site before I really thought little of it until seeing another article on a site I do actually respect that painted a side to this case I hadn’t seen on RT.com.

The Epochtimes.com is one of my trusted sources so I delved a little further into the story to find out that this man who was a past FBI agent was actually one of the people who started the Russian Collusion hoax! In fact he worked as the head of the New York FBI counterintelligence office.

How fitting that this man would be spending time in jail for the very same thing that he falsely accused Trump of committing.

However the story doesn’t end there. I thought it strange how none of this was brought to light in the first article so I researched RT.Com. Originally called Russia Today but later shortened to RT.com it now seemed obvious that what I was really reading was Russian propaganda!

Search your sources before you just blindly share an article on social media.

Is Morality Dead?

Opinion 

In my opinion and my one word answer is YES! Integrity, fair play, justice, selflessness, and truth are all gone now in our society. Replaced by corruption, greed, injustice and immoral behavior. 

Let me give you an example and you judge the situation for yourself. A prominent individual whom I will call Mr. Douglas (not his real name) makes an offer on a piece of property and it is accepted by the widow. The settlement date is set for 2 months later. The widow is hurriedly moving and selling items for the move because the house is close to 5000sq ft. You can imagine how monumental a task that is for a widow in her later years. 

The purchaser comes to the woman and offers her $250,000 less than the agreed upon price for the property 7 days before settlement. He tells her if she doesn’t like it she can take him to court! 

She is caught between a rock and a hard place because she has emptied her home at this point and just wants things to be done. She turns the situation over to her attorney and he negotiates with his attorney and they settle on a reduction of $125,000 on the property. In the final days before settlement she falls down the stairs while cleaning out some final things and breaks her pelvis mere days before settlement forcing her to hand over power of attorney to her son for the settlement. 

As you can imagine this doesn’t sit well with the past landscaper as he viewed this widow and her husband who had passed but a few years prior as “family.” 

The new owner contacts the landscaper to continue his service on the property. The landscaper refuses immediately and explains that the widow told him about what he had done days prior to settlement. 

The purchaser replied, “That was just good business.” 

What do you think drives a person to do such a thing to an elderly widow in such a vulnerable situation in her life? I could relate multiple scenarios this man has performed resulting in not only moralistic lapses in judgment but violations of law, but I’ll save that for another time. 

Now I ask you my readers, is this a person that you want as either a neighbor or an employer? Did the landscaper make the right decision to blow Mr. Douglas off? Or was Mr. Douglas right in his actions?

 

Can a False Flag Event Cancel the 2024 Election?

Not only can it happen, it’s being simulated today by the DHS under Mayorkas in conjunction with the FBI under Wray. They are simulating cyberattacks to what they claim are our elections. They are doing this not in the way you’d think. They aren’t simulating attacks on actual voting machines or their software, they are simulating attacks to cause civilian mayhem.

Attacking traffic lights to cause catastrophic death. They are simulating hacking self-driving cars to cause crashes. They are simulating attacks on the internet. Why exactly are they doing this while under the guise of election interference?

The main aim is to cause a situation where they can plant the fingerprints of some foreign government to obtain a general consensus from the American people to go to war. Think about the Iraq war if you need a glaring example.

These are basically wars games against our own citizens to create a situation of martial law to circumvent the 2024 Presidential election.

Of course this has some Deep State players also, WEF and a company called Cybereason which has ties to through its work with the Israeli group Mossad.

Not once has it been mentioned how easily the voting machines are to hack or how to stop that, but only to wreak havoc on American soil to trigger martial law.

They are laying out the plans of attack on America’s own citizens and the general population is oblivious.

So What is Changing in 2024 to Assure Fair Elections?

Everyone on the right is saying that 2024 will be a Trump landslide this time! My question to this would be how? Such a claim was made in the 2022 midyear elections. With so much rampant election fraud in this country in 2020 how can you be sure 2024 will be different?

Most cases were dropped by liberal Judges under the guise of “no standing.” Frankly I don’t really understand how ANY American can be judged as not having standing. The elections affect us all, and the premise in our country is that fair elections are the cornerstone of our Republic.

So my question to America, and I mean both parties now, is how can we continue down this path of corruption in elections and maintain our representative Republic?

With continued election fraud comes a gradual transition to a corrupt government. God knows we certainly have enough of that already. The move eventually leads to totalitarianism or an autocratic society.

Those that benefit from election fraud have no real incentive to stop doing it, which was clearly evident in 2016 when Hillary Clinton’s campaign and the DNC were fined for election interference and yet no criminal charges were filed. A couple hundred grand is nothing out of the DNC or Hillary’s pocket.

So for those of you that think this election will be fair and free from abuse, please give me an example…I’ll wait.

Government Psy-Ops against its Own Citizens? You Can Bet on It!

We already know that our government has run a “disinformation” campaign against its citizens during the Biden Administration. Most prevalent is the Covid debacle and the Hunter Biden laptop, but it goes much deeper and farther back then that!

Now you are asking…”During the Trump Administration?”

Nothing is clear on that front but there is now proof that the whole psy-ops thing went back to the previous administration. Yes it seems everything eventually leads back to Barack Obama.

Near the end of his term Obama started this psy-ops program through the military, we know from the past that psy-ops programs for swaying public opinion has been done for years through what we know as propaganda.

Up until the Obama orders were handed down that this propaganda had only been done in foreign countries through the CIA NSA, and FBI. Entire departments were formed for such work.

This latest psy-ops program was now handled directly through the military of not only the United States but also involved the Military of the UK!

So the military of both governments are altering common perceptions to mold the way people think to the mindset of government!

Climate Change is now Racist?

It was certain to happen eventually, Racism and Climate Change would be tied together.

Only in CNN’s narrow mind could these two things be tied together. Their claims are that bad weather events affect cities with a higher African-American count disproportionally from White areas.

Does that even make sense? Maybe they are counting the New Orleans area disproportionally to the rest of the country, maybe they are just manufacturing statistics to fit their own agenda.

Climate change has been a hot topic for over a decade but to claim that a “man-made” situation has contributed to harming blacks more than whites is certainly a stretch of the imagination!

Carjacking and Thefts on the Rapid Increase

Car theft seems to be on the rapid increase in America and many people are asking why.

Many states are initiating law suits on specific car makers for making their cars too easy to steal, but one has to wonder….is that the real underlying factor of the thefts?

Hyundai and Kia are experiencing the brunt of the situation now offering software updates and steering wheel deterrents, but are these the real cures?

While Baltimore City has experienced an over 300% increase at almost 11,000 thefts Mayor Scott recently said this

“Our work really falls into four buckets: One is prevention, two is deterrence, three is enforcement, and four is continued legal action against negligent manufacturers,” said Mayor Scott.

You do notice that Mayor Scott never addressed prosecution. While local media describe the incidences as “mundane.” Car-jackings are anything BUT mundane when they involve a family member, and they have become way too much of a “normal occurrence” in the state of Maryland

Most of these car-jackings and thefts involve teenagers which are hardly ever arrested and if they do only get a slap on the wrist because of Soros installed prosecutors, in Maryland just like all most liberal cities want to blame manufactures rather that the culprits much in the way they want to sue gun manufacturers for murders and ignore prosecutions.

These cities never want to place blame or the violators only the manufacturers.

When exactly will our country wake up to the realization that the Mayors and the Governors are to blame for their own policies?

NY Times Spins Terrorist as a Victim

The article read

           “A disfigured woman whose case has become well known is among the Palestinians released.”

The person in question is a Palestinian car bomber whose bomb exploded before she reached her intended target. Israa Jaabis has been in an Israeli jail since 2015 for the failed attempt of a suicide bombing.

She had also received plastic surgery at the expense of Israeli taxpayers. Her release was part of a 39 person prisoner exchange.

This is but one more exchange for terrorists for innocent women and children that was part of Hamas’ kidnapping on Oct. 7^th.

For the New York Times to try to spin this somehow to make it sound as if Israel somehow disfigured her is certainly unconscionable.

Indefinite Detention Camps by Executive Fiat?

If Gavin Newsom is the anti-Christ then this woman is the spawn of the devil!

During the Covid Pandemic Gov. Kathy Hochul decided to try to make a law enabling her to create Quarantine Detention Camps for the critically ill. The problem is that lawmakers in her state saw that as invasive to the Constitution because the wording was so broad and far overreaching.

The bill pretty much failed because absolutely NOBODY would co-sponsor it in the New York Legislature because of it's broad nature.

Not wanting to quit her quest for unlimited power delegated through the bureaucracy of unelected officials making decision on detention, she used her executive authority to push this through as a regulatory mandate.

Several legislators sued her and the case was decided by a Judge has having far overreaching power that violated the Constitution.

Not willing to accept defeat Hochul decided to turn this over to her AG Letitia James for appeal.  Well they certainly found a liberal panel of appeals Judges because they overturned the initial ruling, but not because of the merits of the case.

They used the old standby “No Standing.”

Can you just imagine that several law makers in NY brought the case because it side stepped the legislative process, but now they are considered to have “no standing!”

So as of right now Spawn of the Devil Kathy Hochul is winning.

Sending the Wrong Message With Bad Trades?

It started in June of 2014 when then President Barack Obama traded 5 prisoners from Guantanamo Bay for a military prisoner of war Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl. Bergdahl was hardly the model military man, in fact he was a deserter and that’s how he was captured by Afghani forces.

President Obama broke the law with this prisoner exchange. He was supposed to consult Congress 30 days before the trade happened or for that matter to even discuss the specifics of the trade. Sadly that never happened and that started the precedence of dealing with terrorists.

In fact one of those released by Obama was the master mind in the attack that killed 13 service members on the now famous Joe Biden’s botched withdraw from Afghanistan.

What ever happened to the idea of “ No negotiation with terrorists”?

Obviously Obama took that genie out of the bottle and no nobody can put it back in.

Oh that’s just one instance you say, surely that won’t continue in the future.

On the contrary my friend, this has been continually getting worse as time progresses. Look at Israel right now, they are trading 3 Hamas prisoners per one civilian hostage. These aren’t just run of the mill Hamas prisoners but hardened killers bent on killing more Jews in Israel. The mastermind of the Oct 7 attack was himself a released Hamas prisoner in a past exchange.

So let’s recap a bit here…..240 kidnapped in Israel on October 7 now equals 720 released killers from Israeli prisons. Doesn't sound like a great deal, especially when Israel will end up paying in blood somewhere down the road for bad decisions today.

Should We Let “Journalists” Influence Which Side of a War to Support?

I watch a lot of independent journalists on YouTube for war coverage on both fronts, Israel and Ukraine. I usually take them all with a grain of salt and after watching many different ones I think the truth must be in the middle somewhere.

Where I draw the line is at barbarianism. What I mean when I say that is after watching this one journalist on a site called CBN news on YouTube by the name of Chuck Holton, I wonder what his underlying intention is.

In the beginning of the Israeli war he made the following comment. Now I’m going to paraphrase here, but he was saying that he has covered many war zones and if you support Israel in this you must also support Ukraine in the other war.

I was shocked at such a statement and wondered what his rationale was. He claimed that both Israel and Ukraine have both needlessly suffered the loss of life. Both sides have but that is not the total answer in both conflicts.

The geopolitical ramifications are almost at polar opposites between these two wars, and the causations are completely different. Holton seems to feel that because both countries were attacked from an outside country that they are somehow the same.

Nothing could be further from the truth, and to make such a blanket statement out there about who we must support in both wars is akin to nothing more than say, CNN, MSNBC, or one of the other totally biased talking head networks.

Now to be fair CBN (Christian Broadcast Network) has been pretty fair on most of their other reporting both domestically and abroad, but in my opinion when they allow commentary from a supposed “independent journalist” in live updates daily to be biased it makes me wonder about the other videos from the same network.

When he reports on the daily actions from both sides he is pretty fair to both sides but his opinions as to whom you have to support leaves me lacking.

I don’t want to be told from a reporter which side I should support in a war any more than who I should vote for……it ruins their integrity.

What Do Heat Pumps and the War Powers Act Have in Common?

If Joe Biden were to invoke the War Powers Act one would hope he would do it to replenish the ammunition and armaments he foolishly gave to Ukraine. If you think that was his intent you are sadly mistaken.

In yet another one of his sleazy backdoor moves Biden is pushing his climate agenda through of all things, The War Powers Act! He’s merely using the funds designated for war to push for more heat pumps in homes to replace natural gas for heating purposes.

The move surely makes one shake their head, especially if you live in a colder area of the country. Anyone that lives in even a borderline area knows that heat pumps are very inefficient for heat production when temps drop below freezing.

Biden knows that additional funding for his clean agenda would never pass Congress at this point so he robs funds from other areas.

The military is suffering losses in so many areas right now but he is intentionally draining more money from them only weakening our men and women even more.

Each day I awaken wondering…. “What stupid decision is Joe going to make today?”

Sadly I am never disappointed in his ability to screw up a nation!

Dwindling Population and What It Means to the Super Powers

America has had a dwindling population for the last few decades and in fact America’s population growth in 2021 was its slowest in history at just 0.1 %.

While this might be hard to understand with the influx at the southern border but declining birth rates and accelerated death rates due to Covid-19, America’s growth is in peril.

The inception of birth control and on demand abortion had only started the problem, the over-population alarmists have certainly done their jobs well. So well in fact that America hasn’t been replacing their own since the 80’s.

Families that produce on one child per couple exemplifies the situation. A society can’t survive unless they produce at least 3 children per household. Sadly America hasn’t been doing that for a long while.

In the 2021 Census America had grown less than 1 million people for the first time since the 1918 pandemic! Also in that census for the first time since 1890 has America had over 14% foreign born citizens. This doesn’t include undocumented people either.

If you are a logical thinker you might assume this is the reason for Biden’s open border policy, and maybe it is, but the fact remains that the population growth is on the decline.

This new influx of foreign people tends to dilute the American culture, and in many ways not such a positive manner.

China is suffering the same dilemma they too are suffering a decline in population but more so than even we are. By the end of the century China is on track to lose 700 million people which will cut their population in half!

It all boils down to one thing, the overpopulation alarmists have caused this problem. Sadly the damage has been already done and it’s not certain if it will ever be reversed.

China’s Elusive Quest for Quality and Accountability

Let’s face it Communist Regimes have never been known for producing quality items. In a capitalistic market, quality is the cornerstone of a company either rising to the top or failing miserably.

China has been the poster child for copycat products for decades, some products do well but as we know a majority of items sold in the big box outlets that were made in China fail prematurely.

Unfortunately Americans have adopted the idea that the things they buy at Walmart and say Amazon are not the best quality, but they are cheap and will get them through in a pinch.

We are a throwaway society and it’s only getting worse. I’m the adventuresome tinkerer and if something I purchased fails I try to fix it before tossing it in the trash. If I fix it, I’ve saved money, if not then no great loss, hopefully the replacement will work better.

Case in point with the Covid-19 virus. Money was handed through a back door grant to China because such dangerous lab testing wasn’t allowed in the United States. As the old adage goes, “You get what you pay for.” Safety precautions be damned full speed ahead! The world suffered from bad safety protocols for the two years following.

There isn’t much of an incentive to create a well-made or safe product under Communist rule the worker ants just produce without much concern for resale value or safety.

I often chuckle to myself when we are told how much more advanced China is in military hardware. Maybe they are in certain ways but when I throw away a China made product from Walmart that only lasted 2 months, I find myself mumbling about…”they better make their military stuff better than that item I just threw in the trash.”

Enter the story on October 14, 2023 about a Shang Class Chinese Nuclear Submarine that was lost due to being caught in its own trap that was laid for enemy submarines, killing all 55 of the crew. The incident happened on August 21, 2023 to the type 093 Nuclear Sub.

The deaths were due to Hydrogen Sulfide poisoning. Sadly no detection device had been placed on this sub, so the crew had no warning about their impending doom. So safety protocols were ignored and the sub’s warning systems were lacking to say the least. In a last ditch effort to deflect criticism on the lack of safety measures the CCP instead placed blame on the deceased crew.

Not surprisingly this isn’t the first of incidences such as these as other naval disasters have haunted the CCP for decades.

To begin with, I’m sorry I haven’t been posting much, but a little over a week ago I injured yet more fingers so typing has been painful to say the very least.

With that being said this article will be short and to the point.

Anyone that supports the “Palestinians” supports Hamas. There I said it and I’m far from apologetic on the matter. In 2006 the people of Gaza had a democratic election and voted in Hamas as their government.

As a direct result of that the indoctrination over 2 million began. Children were taught at an early age to hate Israel and Jews in general. A two party state has been rejected constantly by not only PLO, but Hamas and most recently Iran.

The ONLY thing they agree to is to regain all the land “From the River to the Sea.” This means the annihilation of Jews and the removal of the state of Israel.

The barbarism of Hamas is unrivaled in modern history. Their willingness to use the civilians of Gaza as human shields and to place military outposts next to and in some cause directly in hospitals, mosques and even kindergartens is unconscionable.

They deny the citizens even basic humanitarian items to fuel their hateful war machine.

There is no such thing as humanitarian supplies within the borders of the Gaza Strip, because Hamas confiscates them all for their own use.

Thankfully each day between the hours of 10 AM and 2 PM the Israelis allow the citizens a chance to escape the Gaza Strip. Careful vetting follows to make sure that Hamas terrorists aren’t escaping with innocent civilians. More than I can say about the influx of terrorists on our own southern border.

What is a proportional response after the barbarism Hamas inflicted on the citizens of Israel?

What saddens me is the support that some Americans show towards Hamas....personally it sickens me!

You Think the USA isn’t Crazy Enough to Use a Nuclear Warhead on Iran How About the Moon?

I can already see the look of puzzlement on your face, “What the hell is Al talking about this time?” How about hitting the moon with a nuclear bomb?

Nobody would be that crazy would they?  Sadly it appears as though two countries were!

In 1958 Russia launched their first satellite into space. Sputnik wasn’t just Russia's first satellite it was the world’s first satellite. Not to be embarrassed America launched their first satellite 4 months later called Explorer I.

Now being embarrassed by coming in second place America started exploring other areas to come in first. This was a time where national pride was #1 in America’s eyes. The US government wanted to show the world their superiority so they tasked the USAF to come up with a plan to show case their technological advancements.

What did the Air Force come up with? “Let’s nuke the moon!”

I can just see the look on your faces right now…lol

Yes, not until recently were plans declassified on Project A119. This was an in depth study on not only how to detonate a nuclear warhead on the moon but what were the ramifications and fallout possibility on Earth.

Even the famous Carl Sagan was involved in this project. If you think we were the only country crazy enough to even consider the possibility of doing this…..think again! Russia had their own scientists working on the same objective.

Thankfully cooler heads prevailed and the project was scrapped and things led to another spectacular display of technology, namely the moon landing of Apollo 11 in 1969.

So the next time you think either Russia, USA, or any other nuclear power country thinks rationally about using a nuclear warhead think about Project A119!

Why Do Arab Nations Shun Palestinians?

The people from Gaza are primarily referred to as “refugees” and that is true but not for the reasons they proclaim. Gazans claim that they are refugees driven from Israel but in actuality they are refugees from Egypt.

Since the time of the PLO and Yasser Arifat the people of “Palestine” have contended that they were driven out of Israel as a result of the UN mandate to give Israel their own land after the Holocaust of WWII. They lay claim to the land of Israel because the Muslim world invaded and pillaged that property centuries before and therefore they claim it is theirs.

The truth lies closer to the fact that Israel was inhabited over 2000 years ago by Jews and Christians alike, before that it was part of the Roman Empire.

The Arab world views the “Palestinians” as the black sheep of the Muslim world. Palestinian militancy started in the early 60’s and forced themselves first on Jordan. The Jordanian military couldn’t contain them because of the small size of their forces. This brutality against Jordanian citizens continued for many years until finally the Palestinians were driven from Jordan by an increased military presence. 

After being driven from Jordan they basically invaded Lebanon and started one of the bloodiest civil wars ever seen. Lebanon has never really recovered from that atrocity.

Egypt never wanted the Gaza Strip back even though it was offered by Israel. As a result the Palestinians were a people without a country. I say this in a document sense. Other than a Palestinian passport which is merely a travel document to every other nation in the world, a Palestinian Passport is not proof of citizenship except in Gaza. Kuwait has hatred for Palestinians also, as they supported Saddam Hussein's invasion of their country during the Gulf War.

In 2005 the Gaza Strip was abandoned by Israel and its citizens. All Israelis moved out and basically gave the Palestinians their own country. Several times the Palestinians were offered a two state Nation proposition and all those times it was turned down. Shortly after, Hamas was elected as the representative government of the Gaza Strip. This is the reason we have gotten to the situation we are in now.

The rationalization in the Palestinian eyes are that they want it all…..Israel and all its people out or annihilated or both.

These ideals are far from a rational basis to a negotiated settlement. Israel isn’t going anywhere but they are constantly being attacked by Gaza to the south and Hezbollah to the north.

The Israelis are a persecuted people but the Palestinians are the country bullies. Live and let live should be their motto, but sadly never will be. But they will never be accepted by the surrounding Arab Nations either, they are a people without a country, the redheaded step children of the East.

Question for Hamas Supporters; Where are the Bomb Shelters for Civilians in Gaza?

Hamas was started surprisingly enough as an Egyptian based charity called the Muslim Brotherhood. It has evolved into an extremist Islamic Sunni movement since its original beginning in 1987.

It formed into the powerful group it is today when it won a legislative election in 2006 as the ruling body of Gaza. They had been preaching armed resistance, annihilation, and hatred for the Jewish Nation of Israel since its inception.

Today is no different than it was in the beginning, the citizens of Gaza are only used as shields and pawns for the ruling faction.

Hama military installations are strategically placed in and around civilian zones on purpose. It’s not uncommon for a military section to be placed in hospitals or churches. The whole city of Gaza is a myriad of interconnected tunnels that total some 500 KM or over 310 miles.

Israeli attacks basically amount to the game whack-a-mole. Once missiles are fired the Israelis zone in within 60 seconds to pound that area with artillery, but usually the Hamas fighters have already retreated into their tunnels.

In a recent interview a Hamas leader Mousa Abu Marzouk rationalized his view of the civilians of Gaza this way when asked .. “ Why 500 KM of tunnels, but no bomb shelters in Gaza?”

His reply was astounding …..his rationalization is that Hamas builds tunnels to protect only the fighters from plane attacks, the citizens are merely refugees and under the Geneva Convention are the responsibility of the UN and Israel!

This in so many words is the admission that the citizens mean nothing to them other than a shield for their barbaric actions.
