With so much going on you never can stay on top of one political item before it is shoved aside for another. The pace this administration is going through scandals, questionable decisions and outright telling the American people they don’t give a damn about them is astonishing to say the least.  

Democrats found out long ago they can champion causes that challenge the establishment because the establishment never moves. What I am talking about are loyal constitutional conservatives. Countries, like houses need solid foundations to sit atop otherwise they twist, bend and eventually crumble. Democrats went from championing the causes of blue collar working Americans to championing divisive demographic causes.  

Since WWII, Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton stayed close to the pulse of America. Many things they did in office turned out to be disastrous for the country but many of those were not by design to be that way, they were following bad advice of trusted sources. Harry Trumann & JFK believed that people were best served when allowed the whole of America to dictate America’s direction but believed government had a duty to apply as many of those wishes as possible even if it meant bumping up against the Constitution to do it.  

FDR was the biggest presidential threats to American liberties since WWII before January 2009. FDR believed in socialism and put a few cracks in the foundation of this country to achieve many of his ideas. While he did do some good in the short term, in the long term most of his ideas detracted from the ideas and the boundaries of laws set forth by our Founding Fathers to constrain government. Dwight Eisenhower’s biggest failure was to allow many of FDR’s ideas remain in place. Most should have had expiration dates. But what do you expect; FDR was Eisenhower’s Commander in Chief.   

The biggest difference between Roosevelt and Obama is that Roosevelt believed with his heart he was doing what was right for the country. Obama acts like he believes America needs to be taken down in world stature while removing the power of the people because they are neither worthy of nor educated enough to deserve having such power.  

Obama is not the champion of the blue collar worker. Obama is not a democrat and could care less about the party. Obama is a narcissist who learned to use the party to achieve a means to control those he deems as dumber than he.      

Barack Obama – November 2008: “I think that I’m a better speechwriter than my speechwriters. I know more about policies on any particular issue than my policy directors. And I’ll tell you right now that I’m gonna think I’m a better political director than my political director.”

Obama believes his destiny is to tear America down so it can be rebuilt much in the same manner Rome so it will collapse and crumble under its own weight. How do you accomplish this? Well, you certainly can’t tear down a house from the outside in without people noticing and neither can you do it to a country. You can’t tear up the main floor of a house without your friends and neighbors knowing it. Besides, you have to remove the debris and then everyone will now it. So we still have to accomplish destroying the house. Burning it down is totally out of the question and you have to do so no one knows what you are doing. You attack the foundation. You pound it until it crumbles. Since it is under the house, no need to haul off any chunks. If you do it in the daylight it appears you are repairing it even though it was solid and sound before you started. If you do it at night, people only then will question you. 

Demolition teams bring down structures by precisely placing explosive charges in exact spots to implode a building. Knock out a house foundation in such a manner and the house will crumble upon itself and not outwardly.  

Let’s think about some of the acts by Obama and his administration hat could possibly fracture the foundation of this country: 

1.   Ordering the Environmental Protection Agency to implement portions of the Cap & Trade bill that failed to pass in the U.S. Senate.

2.   Ordering implementation of portions of the “Dream Act” that failed to pass in Congress.

3.   Orchestrating a government takeover of a major part of the automobile industry in 2009.

4.   Ordering a moratorium on new offshore oil and gas exploration and production without approval of Congress.

5.   Signing an Executive Order on March 16, 2012 giving himself and the Executive branch extraordinary powers to control and allocate resources such as food, water, energy and health care resources etc. in the interest of vaguely defined national defense issues. It would amount to a complete government takeover of the U.S. economy.

6.    Signing an Executive Order on July 6, 2012 giving himself and the Executive branch the power to control all methods of communications in the United States based on a Presidential declaration of a national emergency.

7.  Signing an Executive Order on January 6, 2013 that contained 23 actions designed to limit the individual right to keep and bear arms guaranteed by the Second Amendment to the Constitution.

8.  Amending portions of the Affordable Healthcare Act and other laws passed by Congress without Congressional approval as required by Article 1 of the Constitution.

9.      Issuing Executive orders in January 2014 amending the HIPPA law to allow the turning over of confidential medical records to Federal agencies if there is any information to be used to add individuals to the NICS list to prohibit them from purchasing firearms.

10.     Having the EPA impose regulations on the coal industry that will force many utility companies and coal mines out of business. This will cost the U.S. economy thousands of jobs and dramatically increase the cost of energy to the public. This is being done without Congressional approval.

11.  Hindering the ability of the U.S. Border Patrol Agency to not only stop illegal immigration, but to stop human and drug trafficking.

12.   Removing the work requirement from welfare reform legislation without Congressional approval.

13.   Using Executive privilege to block Congress from getting documents relating to the DOJ’s Operation Fast and Furious and the death of U.S. Border Patrol Brian Terry.

14.   Had members of his administration provide false information about the act of terrorism committed in Benghazi, Libya on September 11, 2012 and refusing to allow the State Department and other federal agencies to cooperate in the Congressional investigation.

15.   Falsely labeled the mass murder of American soldiers at Ft. Hood, Texas as “workplace violence” instead of the act of Islamic terrorism it was.

16.   Falsely labeling the IRS targeting of conservative and Christian groups as a “phony” scandal and refusing to order an active pursuit of the investigation into who was ultimately responsible.

17.   Refusing to order an independent investigation of the actions of Eric Holder and the DOJ in targeting the phone records of members of the news media.

18.    Telling the American people on a television show that the NSA was not prying into the emails and phone calls of Americans when the facts prove otherwise.

19.    Telling the American people on a television show that the NSA was not prying into the emails and phone calls of Americans when the facts prove otherwise.

20.    Having the Department of Health and Human Services order religious institutions and businesses owned by religious families to provide their employees free contraception and other services that are contrary to their religious beliefs. This is being done under the auspices of the Affordable Health Care Act and violates the religious freedom clauses of the First Amendment.  

21.    Having the military place restrictions on the religious freedom of Chaplains and other members of the military in order to favor gay rights advocates and atheists in violation of the First Amendment.

22.    Having the military place restrictions on the freedom of speech of members of the military and the civilian employees of the DOD in violation of their rights under the First Amendment.

23.    Using Executive orders and government agency actions to limit Second Amendment rights. This includes actions by the Veterans Administration to disarm American veterans without due process as required by the Fifth Amendment.

24.    Having the National Security Agency intercept and monitor the private communications of millions of Americans without a court order and in violation of the Fourth Amendment.

25.     Joining with foreign governments in lawsuits against sovereign U.S. states to prohibit them from enforcing immigration laws. This is in violation of the Tenth Amendment.

26.   Filing suits under the Voting Rights Act against sovereign U.S. states to prevent them from enforcing Voter ID laws despite rulings by the Supreme Court upholding these laws. This is another violation of the Tenth Amendment and the balance of powers.

27.   Having the IRS propose new regulations on conservative 501 (C ) (4) organizations to limit their freedom of speech and political activities during election cycles in violation of the First Amendment to the Constitution.

28.      Having the FCC prepare new rules on internet neutrality in violation of the ruling by the U.S. Supreme Court striking down such regulations.

29.     Having the FCC institute a plan to place agents in newsrooms of radio and television stations as well as print media to monitor whether they are providing the “proper” news content to the public, a direct violation of the First Amendment to the Constitution.

30.   Having the Secretary of State sign the U.N. Small Arms Treaty despite the opposition of a majority of the U.S. Senate and with full awareness that the implementation of the treaty would violate the Second Amendment rights of American citizens.

31.   In the name of “political correctness,” he imposed unnecessary and dangerous rules of engagement on our troops in combat causing them to lose offensive and defensive capabilities and putting them in danger. Many American service personnel have been killed or wounded as a result of this policy.

32.   Releasing the identity of American military personnel and units engaged in dangerous and secret operations such as the killing of Osama bin Laden by Navy Seal team 6.

33.   Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution gives Congress the exclusive power to declare war. Yet, without consulting Congress President Obama ordered the American military into action in Libya.

34.   Having the Attorney General tell Secretaries of State that they do not have to comply with the Federal law requiring states to timely send absentee ballots to military personnel.

35.   Imposing Rules of Engagement on the active military in war zones that have unnecessarily endangered the lives of American soldiers.

36.   Allowed the leaking of classified information about U.S. military operations to the media in order to enhance his political image. Such leaks place the lives of U.S. soldiers in danger. 

37.   Despite being informed in 2009 of problems in the Veterans Administration involving treatment of veterans, took no action improve the situation, but instead ordered the VA to spend a major part of its budget on green energy projects at VA facilities instead on veteran care. 

38   Endangered the lives of members of the American military and American civilians by negotiating with terrorists to trade five high level Taliban leaders in exchange for an American soldier who deserted his post and his fellow soldiers. In addition, he did the foregoing action in violation of Federal law since he did not provide the legally required thirty day notice to members of Congress of his intent to release prisoners from Guantanamo Bay. 

39.   Continues to refuse to enforce immigration laws passed by Congress in violation of Article 2, Section 3 of the Constitution, and further has used illegal and unconstitutional Executive orders to grant amnesty or de-facto amnesty to illegal aliens currently in the United States. 

40.   Has deliberately destroyed the morale and effectiveness of Border Patrol agents by interfering with their attempts to fulfill their oath of office and enforce laws legally passed by the U.S. Congress.

41.   By his deliberate actions encouraged parents of thousands of children in Central America to send their children, often unaccompanied by adults, across the U.S. border and then asking for billions of taxpayer dollars to care for these children. 

42.   Ordered the Border Patrol and Department of Homeland Security to place thousands of these children on buses or planes and dumping them in communities around the country; often without any prior notifications to the local elected officials in these communities.

43.   Allowed the TSA to let these children, as well as possible teenage gang members and unidentified to fly in U.S. Airlines at taxpayer expense without proper identification required by Federal law. 

44.   Has refused to respond to lawful requests by Governors of the southern Border States to close the Southern border to any further illegal immigration and has created a severe financial crisis for Border States and other states in order to advance his own political agenda.  

45.   Has ordered the release of thousands of illegal aliens who have been convicted of serious crimes in the U.S. to be released and stay in the country after they have served their sentences. This violates the requirements of Federal law that such people be immediately deported.

46.   Ordered the immediate release of approximately 68,000 other criminals in Federal prisons that have been convicted of drug offenses. These actions endanger the lives and property of honest and law abiding American citizens that the President is legally and constitutionally required to protect. 

47.   Has authorized the IRS, HHS, BATF, DHS, and EPA to propose new regulations not authorized by Congress that will adversely affect the rights of Americans protected by the First, Second, Fourth, and Fifth Amendments to the Constitution.


Read each and every one of these. In some fashion, each is designed to tear at the morality, freedom and liberties, religious or other basic principle this country was founded upon as set in writing and adopted into law by our Founding Fathers. 

Even when these are done in the name of the Greater Good, is it? Usually not because it takes from one and gives to another. We have un unsustainable national debt. We have an immoral budget deficit. We went from 2 page to 2000 page laws that no one understands nor reads but continue to be passed by congress. We have judges that refuse to recognize the 10th amendment. We have career politicians that only care about their own power and hanging on to it.  

America so far stands not because of government but in spite of it, but that too will soon disappear. Public education is not locally controlled but is union and federal government controlled. Students are being taught with more frequency that government is the answer and government is always right. The “Greater Good” is a concept our children are being brainwashed with.  

There is precious little time remaining to reverse this trend. If “WE THE PEOPLE” don’t take our country back soon, we are destined to become to Canada what Mexico is to the United States.   

I have repeated these words in every social media available to me since 2007 and have only witnessed America spiraling further and further into oblivion. We have on the 2016 election left to bring America back from what is sure to be a slow and painful death but we must not wait until then to raise our conservative voices. Our vote was our voice earlier this month, now we use our actual voices and continually remind those we just elected why we elected them and why we agreed to send them to Washington while always remember they are public servants – THEY WORK FOR “WE THE PEOPLE”.

President Obama and Democratic minions constantly talk about having a conversation in America about “race.” Unfortunately, the last 6 years the position of the Attorney General has been occupied by Eric Holder, who sees fit to ignore the laws and policies forged into law by our legislature. Mr. Holder has taken this position to further the political agenda of his boss Barack Obama. Neither man wants an honest and most certainly a painful conversation about race relations in our country. 

It seems hypocritical to me and a majority of Americans that Eric Holder believes that his interpretation of the Constitution is the only way laws should be handled in America. He regularly misconstrues laws and bends them to the whims and wishes of the massive “transformation of America” as his boss Barack Obama once claimed he would do. Holder says he believes in the law and how the system works and yet when the decision from the Ferguson Grand Jury didn’t go the way he expected, he acted like a petulant child and demeaned the Ferguson Police department, with a promise not to let this go, and to now push for an investigation of the whole department. 


This additional investigation would be funny if it wasn’t so obvious that it’s being done as retribution of something that the Ferguson Grand Jury had done that Holder had seen as wrong. Unfortunately retribution is something the Obama Administration knows all too well. Punishment sits at the forefront of almost every action the Obama Administration uses. 
 

This isn’t an honest talk about race relations because it uses a lie for basis for further action in Ferguson. Four Forensic Pathologists have done individual inspections of Michael Brown’s body and have all come to the same conclusion, and yet the rioters, politicians, and now an NFL team have seen fit to portray a “hands up don’t shoot” mindset. This is dishonest to say the least, ALL evidence supports Ofc, Darren Wilson’s account of how the shooting went down. A well-known statement about Grand Jury indictments says….”they could indict a ham sandwich,”…..this statement says it all, that a grand jury would rather err on the side of safety and try an innocent man rather than let him go without a trial.
 

When a Grand Jury doesn’t indict someone it seems pretty clear that there isn’t a cause for indictment and that person acted lawfully. The death of any child is sad, but when that child had a past history of violence, felonies, theft and aggression, is it so surprising that a 300lb man child was almost certainly going to meet an untimely death? 

The race baiters who incited this riot and aided in the destruction of the town of Ferguson, the politicians and make-believe Attorney General ignore the law and in some instances actually threw gasoline on those fires should have been arrested. But alas that doesn’t fit the narrative of fanning the racial flames in this country. Thankfully we have some real standup men and woman who serve in a state’s capacity, to call out this racial divide in the Obama Administration. 

How can anyone have an honest discussion about race when the federal government has already picked a side and is enforcing law the way they see fit rather than to justly apply the letter of the law? 

Stupid people know no color, but it’s not honest to say that because this boy was black and the officer was white this was a racial incident. To portray an event even after proving Brown never held up his hands in an attempt to surrender is a lie, America knows it now, but Brown's parents and Obama/Holder are purely in denial! I think most of America admits that if this had been a black officer and a white boy that tried to take his gun and the white boy had been killed this story would have been buried on the back page of the local paper and would have never been mentioned again.


 
We the People understand this but the Obama/Holder department of “Just Us” have decided that they won’t let this go…..I say to them, “Let this dead horse lie” and move on to the next racially charged incident you are bound to find.

Much has been said about the stupidity of the American people as of late. Let's be more candid. The only people who may fit that category area goodly number of politicians and most all of those, who for any number of reasons, feed off, live off, or rely upon the government tit for their pitiful existence in life.

Mind you I am completely aware that as the Lord God has declared, "The Poor will always be amongst us." This falls under the responsibility of churches, and non-Profit charities, 401c3's etc. Not government.
 
The average person that struggles day to day to feed and cloth themselves and their families are, were, and always have been aware of the disaster the "Affordable Care Act" or more widely known "Obamacare" fiasco really is. No person who works for a living ever wanted anything to do with the government running our personal ability to purchase health care in any fashion or form. The free market place was doing just fine. Perhaps some encouragement by government to repair certain parts of health care such as "pre-existing conditions" may have been appropriate, but again the government should otherwise stay totally out of the controversy.

You know who the really stupid people are? Let's begin with Nancy Pelosi who on the 9th March 2010 stood up and declared to the American People that "We (the Senate) "have to pass the bill before we can see what's in the bill." What? That statement in and of itself is beyond stupid. When I heard her say that I was stunned. Another thing, The Congress had nothing to do with it, but then "the memory of the American people are short so now she, Pelosi and the Senate believe they can include the Congress and blame the Republicans for this disaster. More appropriately stated, an Unconstitutional act against the Liberties of "We the People."

I blame the Congress only for not acting to stop the legislation in the first place. It appears the Congress now more and more are abdicating, or ignoring, their legislative powers and conceding to the Executive. This alone makes them just as culpable as the President under the Constitution. Hopefully after Jan 2015 this will change.

Another stupid group of people are the IRS, adding them to the mix in the ACA, along with Justice Roberts comments have exacerbated an already tyrannical act signed sealed and delivered to the American people by Comrade Obama, a died in the wool Communist if ever there were one. The IRS is given enforcement ability with regards to making sure the ACA is purchased by the people, if not you will be fined, and made subject to the same rules as regarding your 1040 taxes each year, IE; garnishing wages, added penalties, liens, levies, this sound familiar?

Lois Lerner, who ran the IRS "exempt organizations division has claimed to Congress that her computer crashed and she lost all her data regarding "targeting and delaying Conservative 401c3s applications." These tax exempt organizations ability to fund certain political organizations opposed to OBAMA and the ACA were her primary targets.
 
Lerner was aided further by IRS Commissioner John Koskinen lying to Congress about back up tapes being recycled every six months; and we were supposed to believe that lie as a matter of fact? Koskinen lying to the Congress said "those e-mails were "Lost forever" He really meant, till after the election.

Only recently we learned that the U.S. Treasury inspector general has found backup tapes containing almost 30,000 e-mails from Lerner. Here is some more stupidity: IRS attorneys have been forced to concede they failed to search the agencies servers, saying they had no reason to believe the tapes would be a potential source for recovering the missing emails, or that the servers even existed in the first place. I am not a computer savvy person but to believe that the IRS personnel actually would try to convince the American people of this tripe boggles the mind.

Given the amount of time since 2010 and the "discovery" of all this begs to ask if the information recovered has somehow now not been redacted so as not to impugn the White House. One has to be cynical enough not to question the authenticity of the information on the e-mails now available to us. Certainly this and a plethora of other information may justify impeachment of the most corrupt Presidency America has ever had to endure.
 
Now with regard to the learned Mr. Jonathan Gruber of which we have heard so much from and about. We have learned from Nancy Pelosi's own lips that he was the architect of the ACA, We have had it confirmed by Gruber himself, we have evidence that he was paid more than $5,200,000.00 for his work by the Washington Post Via the White House. Nancy Pelosi wants now to deny Gruber had anything to do with meeting with the President or that she herself knows who he is. This while there again is a "plethora" of information countering her own words to the contrary.

So who is stupid here, I submit it is a whole lot of government from the White House down to a University Professor that legitimately wear that label just fine thank you. It is now time for those Republicans recently elected to prepare to repeal Obama Care, close our boarders to the iIlegal aliens, impeach an impeachable President, and restore our Constitutional Republic. It would be well for those who will assume power in the new Congress and Senate come January 1, 2015 to read our first presidents Farewell Address and the Constitution. Take it to heart.

You may well think of this also, from President Washington as spoken 1796: "Towards the preservation of your government...it is requisite...that you resist with care the spirit of innovation upon its principles, however specious the pretexts. One method of assault may be to effect, in the forms of the Constitution, alterations which will impair the energy of the system, and thus to undermine what cannot be directly overthrown."

Less than this, you can be assured there will be a whole lot of pissed off (perhaps you will savvy that phrase better than to say "disgruntled") Americans, you think we are mad now? Don't test our grit any further. I, as one of "We, The People of the United States", affirm that I have read our U.S. Constitution and pledge to maintain and promote its standard of liberty for myself and for my posterity and do hereby attest to that by my signature.

We all know about the fabrication Democrats used the last two years claiming that Republicans had a “War on Women.” Those claims proved laughable as the Whitehouse had shown the largest disparity in pay between men and women doing the same jobs for the last five Presidents. Democrats used the same talking points over and over again word for word as if rehearsed as a group before a murder trial for their lives. 

We are now hearing the same talking points to somehow rationalize the lawless and Constitutionally reprehensible action by our President of giving some 13 million illegal aliens the possible pathway to citizenship. In recent polls the citizens of this great country feel that the number one issue in America is jobs, and yet now Obama thinks he has the right to dilute an already struggling pool of American citizen workers, and allow non-citizens to compete for those very same jobs. 

We are aware as citizens that the official unemployment figure is actually half the reported figure with some estimates going even higher. Citizens who once had high paying jobs are being forced out of the work place by younger workers willing to take less pay for the same job. America’s aging work force is being thrown to the street from no fault of their own. The Democratic agenda seems bent on continuing this trend and actually expanding the workforce through executive action. 

Democrats who are mouthing the rehearsed words right now about there being precedence for this executive action by past Presidents is yet another blatant lie. Every past President that took executive action on illegal immigration from Eisenhower to George Bush, did so AFTER laws were enacted by Congress and those Presidents did so to bolster the original actions by Congress, and not to circumvent Congress’s will. Nancy Pelosi actually had the gall to call Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation an Executive Action. Actually the Emancipation Proclamation is just that…… a Presidential Proclamation. There are major differences in Presidential “Actions” and “Proclamations,” neither of which the Minority Leader seems to know. 

Make no mistake people, this arrogant step by the President is yet one more down the road to Obama’s “War on American Citizens.” Not only the citizens born here, but the ones who struggled and toiled to become citizens legally are being slapped in the face by this administration, and it needs to stop! Hopefully this will be the line in the sand that the Republican majority will not cross, but who knows, they haven’t been very steadfast to principles so far and that is exactly what Obama is counting on!

I normally give a link at the end of the article but this demands a link in the beginning because too many may be confused about the intended message of the Montgomery County School District of Maryland. 


At first glance you may assume that Montgomery County has done away with the Christmas Holiday. 

Although Montgomery County is an extremely liberal county of the state of Maryland one has to wonder, were they forced into inclusion vs. exclusion or is this merely a religious cleansing? 

CAIR forced a demand on the Montgomery County School District to include their holidays of Eid ul-Fitr and Eid ul-Adha to be added the school calendar.  

My question is………are they doing this because of the Supreme Court ruling of the separation of church and state, or are they succumbing to the politically correct stance?

There is Law and then, there is Administrative Law.
In America very few Americans are aware they have been ruled, controlled and coerced for more than a century by Administrative Law. Properly defined it is a product of the plethora of regulatory agencies, from which extra constitutional law was created by government to deal with everything from the environment and oil, building a bridge or constructing a large building.

It is those hundreds, if not thousands of laws or regulations that control and restrict our individual access to true freedom and ability to regulate our personal lives as we wish. It is an attempt to exercise binding legislative power, not by Constitutional means, or an act of Congress, but rather by administrative edict. It is sadly a byproduct of a moral breakdown of our society and turning away from long established Christian principles upon which the Constitution is founded.

The Constitution authorizes only three types of power, legislative power lies within the prerogative of Congress, executive power within the President, and judicial power is located in the Supreme Court. Administrative power and law was created as a result, decade by decade, as a pragmatic response to new and complex problems in American life. Its rise to dominance is actually a byproduct of the "modern progressive's" emergence of absolute power practiced by Kings and despots of old. Something our founders could not have envisioned or provided for Constitutionally.
Given the ignorance of many and the desire for power by most elected officials today the danger of losing our Constitutional form of government appears dangerously close to being an absolute reality.
The only true means of overcoming and controlling this possibility is by becoming better informed. We should arm ourselves with a true definition of Law and "rule under law" as defined by our Constitution, as opposed to Administrative Law or Policy.

The answers to reversing this trend towards despotism are not complicated but, as suggested above, there is a need to turn to God, true principles of Constitutional Law and Moral leadership. To spite what we see in the news on a daily basis there are good people everywhere in America upon whom we can elect to government, and trust upon their character to fix our government, and lead our nation as it was meant to be. As Ronald Reagan said, a "City upon a Hill" or a "beacon to the World."
To spite it's critics, those with a "politically correct view" America was meant to be a leader of nations, both powerful, even to be feared in its military force, and benevolent with charity towards all. Its people must be likewise, God fearing, they must with reason love their country and be charitable. Americans should be proud to call themselves an American, speak its language, embrace its flag, and be aware and proud of their heritage. If not. You are free to leave to another nation.

“Let us consider our beginnings, duties and future”

I’ve always been fascinated with the simplicity, the elegance of our founding fathers, their writings and approach to conveying the simple messages of freedom and rights.But how long has it been since we considered their words, the meanings and intentions and viewed them in the light of today’s obscurity and abuse?

Their own words repeatedly convey their recognition of a higher power and our rights as bestowed by God and our rights as citizens of a new and independent and free society. With that in mind I bring out the Preamble to, and our Declaration of Independence from Britain. These words could have been written as warning in the last few weeks and months.

1.     “When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.”

When in the course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another…” – we did in fact find it necessary to take extraordinary measures to step away from England, even to use the force of war to prove that we had enough of their tyranny and were in deed desirous of living free and without the encumbrances of unreasonable taxes and control.

…and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them…” – Our founders knew that Nature (notice the capitalization) and Natures’ God should be the guiding, ruling force in our lives and not man who exercised controls for personal gain and ignoring the good of the governed. And proclaiming the fact that we are entitled to these rights and “…they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.” – It’s our duty to remove ourselves from these corrupt powers.

2.1 “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.”

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal…” – that the true condition of the human spirit as they saw it was plain and clear and without question. That all men, regular citizens and the elected, are equal and there is no oppressive higher power to rule over the citizens of our country.

…that they are endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” – Again recognizing that our rights and freedoms come from a higher power – our Creator, God – and that no man should have the rights to take them away and we should enjoy our lives, our liberties and the right to true personal happiness.

2.2 “That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to affect their safety and happiness.”

That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.” – A simple yet most powerful concept that the elected get their power from us. Not from their own ideology, not their own wishes for power or for their own personal gain or from a supporting political, religious, or economic group…but from the people at large.

That whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to affect their safety and happiness.” – This tells us, reminds us, compells us, to watch over the elected, to exercise our own right and duty to make changes and not be blindly controlled or destroyed. It’s our right to defend and maintain our own “safety and happiness.”

2.4 But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security.

It lays out what to look for, what to find unacceptable and what to be aware of, and I would simply ask – “have we not seen this very abuse and usurping of our governing principles?” 

Do we not see a president who wanders through his duties with his own view, his own desires directing his actions, his own goals for the destruction of our country – enacting his own laws without regard for our process, without consulting the lawmakers whose duty it is to guide us? Do we not see his constant ignorance of existing laws in favor of his own social agenda? Do we not see a complicit political influence which acts as accomplice to his illegal and socialistic actions? Do these very actions show that contrary to section 2.1 above that he feels some are NOT created equal but are better than others, more deserving, have more and different rights?

With these actions occurring, when will we head the demands of our founders to react knowing “…it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to provide new guards for their future security.

As our founders wrote so many years ago –
“The history of the present King of Great Britain is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute tyranny over these States. To prove this, let facts be submitted to a candid world.”
“He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.”
“He has forbidden his Governors to pass Laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his Assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them.”
“He has refused to pass other Laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people would relinquish the right of Representation in the Legislature, a right inestimable to them and formidable to tyrants only.”

PLEASE reread that last again – “He has refused to pass other Laws for the accommodation of large districts of people… formidable to tyrants only.”

In our current president’s actions through immigration, the Healthcare Act, the EPA, Dept. of Justice and others, has he not abused every warning the founders laid out, taken away the rights and responsibilities of the states and demeaned our existence?

Again in the words of our Preamble regarding the King of England…
“He has dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people.”
“He has refused for a long time, to cause others to be elected; whereby the Legislative powers, incapable of Annihilation, have returned to the People at large for their exercise; the State remaining in the mean-time exposed to all the dangers of invasion from without, and convulsions within.”
“He has endeavoured to prevent the population of these States; for that purpose obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migrations hither, and raising the conditions of new Appropriations of Lands.”
“He has obstructed the Administration of Justice, by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary powers.”
“He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone, for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries.”
“He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people, and eat out their substance.”
“He has kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies without the Consent of our legislatures.”
“He has affected to render the Military independent of and superior to the Civil power.”
“He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation”
“For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent.” (Obama’s ACA)
“For depriving us in many cases, of the benefits of Trial by Jury” (Obama’s NDAA)
“For taking away our Charters, abolishing our most valuable Laws, and altering fundamentally the Forms of our Governments.” (Obama’s alliance with the UN and relinquishing our rights)
“He has plundered our seas, ravaged our Coasts, burnt our towns, and destroyed the lives of our people.” (Obama’s denial of our oil rights while allowing foreign entities to enjoy our bounties, allowed farmers to go without water to exist on their own lands, and denied the rights of free existence.)

And in the conclusion of our Declaration, “In every stage of these Oppressions we have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A Prince whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.”

Have we not been abused, ignored, and punished in many ways for our civil disagreement with this regime’s actions? Is he not demonstrating the traits of a tyrant and thereby is unfit to govern us?

I would remind that these are not my words. Nor the words of some 21st century disgruntled citizen convicted of crimes and lashing out at authority for undeserved abuses. Not the rants of someone bent on fighting at the gates of the White House to kill and destroy –yet these are the words, the WARNINGS, of intelligent freedom loving men from 250 plus years ago who were tired of the rule of tyrants and oppressors.

When will it be necessary for us to finally make the decision to take up resistance and fight for what is ours – rightfully ours – and not be controlled or further destroyed at the hands of Socialistic influences?

First I need to apologize for taking so long for the third installment of this article. It’s been a challenge to say the least to not only build a vehicle with such a lofty goal, but to secure quality products that actually do what they are supposed to do. 

Anyone who has read my articles knows I’m a regular guy with no agenda or benefits from a paid endorsement. I build cars for myself and or family within specific parameters to accomplish certain goals. I was laughed at by quite a few people when embarking on Project Ecomino, who not only thought I was crazy, but in fact doubted it, could even be done. 

My initial idea to use a retrofit style fuel injection was well founded, and I had a reasonable expectation it would work out well and return that little extra in the MPG department to put me over the top as far as my goals were concerned. Sadly the FAST EZ-EFI didn’t live up to those claims of being “an easy fool proof replacement for a carburetor.” Their constant claims of the vehicle being the cause of RFI interference only magnified the inadequate shielding of their own wiring harness, (if in fact that was the problem.) They had suggested all sorts of changes to the car which I had done all to no avail, and after 4 months of wasted time I threw in the towel and removed their entire system and installed an Edelbrock carb that fixed ALL the problems immediately out of the box! It’s sad to see a customer step back in technology to secure a fix for a problem that shouldn’t have happened in the first place.

It seems funny to me that FAST has the same problem with many other people on the forum boards on the internet, but refuses to acknowledge them publicly, and in fact has made moves to cover their problems, but I am jumping ahead too quickly. It also seems odd that FAST has now introduced their own ignition system to work in conjunction with the EZ-EFI system, something they had hinted at me replacing earlier.  

Any of you that follow HOT ROD magazine especially on YouTube have witnessed the antics of the boys in the Roadkill series, doing something you would never try with your own car. This episode made me chuckle for sure because not only were they driving an untested car across the country, but they were using products from two different companies that I used on Project Ecomino. One product was from FAST being the XFI fuel and timing management system they used on stack injection. Two problems they incurred driving cross country…….first day they only got about 7 MPG. The second day they had gotten that figure up to 17 MPG, but the car wouldn’t run at all at full throttle. So they left that “Alpha N” tune in the computer. The next morning the program took a dump and lost all their previous settings causing them countless hours to “retune the car.” This is the funniest part, after I reviewed the video today…….they edited that part out and claimed….. “We called Comp Cams about a fuel injection problem we were having.”

This is what happens when a magazine is being paid to promote a product! Roadkill certainly did some creative editing, first they edited the part out about how the 17 MPG tune wouldn’t run at wide open throttle, then, they edited the part out about how the car wouldn’t start one morning because the program was lost! I’m sure Comp Cams the parent company of FAST, contacted them to remove this from the video ……….the dates have been changed about the posting time for the video so I know something has been changed! Imagine having to drive cross country while a buddy constantly tunes and tweaks the computer system by laptop, not my idea of fun! PLUS they have lied!  Thankfully Scotty Brokaw at AtlanticSpeed.com in SC stepped up and covered the problem and refunded my purchase. I have no problem endorsing people who go above and beyond to fix a customer service problem. 

The second product I used in Project Ecomino that they used in the 55 Chevy was an American Powertrain TKO-600 complete with a clutch setup. I used mechanical linkage in Ecomino and they used hydraulic linkage in the 55. They constantly said during their journey that the clutch never really “felt right” and chattered constantly. Their chattering was explained @ 15:45. Chattering is a MILD explanation as to what I felt on the Ecomino. If I had been a denture wearer my teeth would have been on the floor many times! There were times it shook so bad that the interior rear view mirror lost its adjustment. I waited the required 200 mile break in period but nothing had changed. I complained to them about how badly it chattered and they explained if I intended to return the clutch they would first “dyno test” it to see IF there was a problem. THEN and only then would they authorize a refund of parts only, the labor to replace the defective item was on my dime so to speak. I guess American powertrain didn’t have enough money to get their part removed from the Roadkill video!

This demonstrates an adversarial position from a company over a $300 part when I had just spent almost $4000 with them to buy their total package. If I had to do this all over again, I’d buy the clutch elsewhere, because their clutches are just not up to the quality I’d expect in the automotive aftermarket. 

With this being said watch the Roadkill Episode and see if you come to the same conclusions as I did.  


I’m afraid the engine will need to come back out of the car because of an overly leaky rear main oil seal and an oil pump that drops oil pressure to an alarmingly low level when hot, all that was supposedly taken care of initially, when I requested tighter clearances because I intended to run synthetic oil. I will most likely replace the clutch with a Centerforce unit while the engine is out. All this seems totally unnecessary if everyone and all the manufacturers had done their collective jobs and supplied me with quality work and workmanship in parts. 

Now you are all probably wondering “Was it all worth it?” The question certainly had me wondering in the past few months. The FAST fuel injection certainly didn’t work on this setup, and to be honest I will NEVER use another FAST product again in any of my vehicles, not only are the products of questionable nature, but the technical help hotline was useless in fixing my problems, plus they were condescending. 

The engine: The top end is very noisy, and if I were to do it all over I’d go with stamped steel rockers on such a mild motor. The carburetor is responsive and up to the task, I would however upgrade the intake to a “gap style.” The cam was basically an experiment special grind and needs a bit more duration and would make this combo come alive, but who knows what the cost would be in MPG. I’d say somewhere in the .480 to .500 lift with duration in the 270 advertised area would be a good compromise. The heads are nowhere near their potential. I’d do all the low drag items I did again. 

Gearing: The final overdrive gear, tire, and axle selection is pretty close. I recurved the distributor to bring all timing in by 1500 RPM. The final running RPM at 60 MPH is right at 1600 which is great for gas mileage but is tough hump to overcome if you want to accelerate. The problem lays in the gear selections for the rear……3:73 or 4:11 and nothing in between. The only thing left that can be played with is the rear tire height, and I think if given the choice now a shorter tire of maybe ½” would work better, because it would bring the RPM up slightly. The car wants to run at 70 to 75 MPH, in fact I wonder if better gas mileage could be obtained at that speed because it might be closer to its magic torque sweet spot. 

Ok finally the gas mileage. On a trip which included driving in the mountains and forcefully keeping it running 60 to 65 MPH, it got 22MPG on the nose! The city figure was not as good at 15MPG. All in all, not bad at all for a carbureted small block chevy with no additional tuning. I think with an A/F gauge we can zone in a little tighter on the jetting to give an even better result.

Was it worth it? Yes I think so but then again, I’ve always been one to think outside the box, and do something nobody else has done!

This administration has made it very difficult to write an opinion and have Al post it on his blogsite because by the time you write it, submit it and Al gets around to posting it, the subject you wrote about has already been replaced in the news by three other items or events thanks to the Obama administration. 


As you know, democrats aren’t the only ones who are ruining America. We still have John McCain and his merry band of idiots in the Senate as well as Boehner and the 150 or so phony conservatives in the house.
 

If they were worth even 1/3’d of what we tax payers pay these idiots, they would have already defunded a majority of the IRS, EPA, NSA and DOJ and a host of other departments and agencies. Eric Holder would have already been arrested for contempt of congress as would Lois Lerner and John Koskinen. The questions should not be “when are they going to jail” but rather why are they not already in jail.

 

Republicans accuse Obummer of leading from behind or having little to no leadership skills at all….. both happen to be true. Republicans lead only when they know the media is going to shows them in a favorable way. The rest of the time for many, it’s backroom dealing as usual.

 

Thad Cochran, the slime ball republican senator from Mississippi. The first sitting republican congressional member to actively seek democrat voters willing to cross over and vote in a republican primary. And just how does he do this, with money from the National Republican Senatorial Committee and a sly dixiecrat democrat named Haley Barbour who continues masquerading as a republican because he still wants to hold office someday and steal more money from taxpayers. If I were living in Mississippi, the day Cochran begins his first official day in the new senate, I would demand a recall vote. With the help of Haley Barbour and money from the NRSC, every conservative Mississippian got screwed. All those democrats who crossed over and voted for this idiot Cochran….. not only did you get played… you got screwed as well and you did it to yourselves.

 

Message to John McCain – with all due respect, put a sock in your daughter’s mouth. Megan McCain has done nothing but paint herself as the poster child of what all is wrong with the GOP. Her message is exactly what got the republicans thrown out of power in congress under Bush 43. She wants to see the return of failure. She’s more of a RINO that daddy and to be honest, I didn’t think anyone so beholden to the DNC could be outdone in the RINO department. I guess it’s genetic.

 

Since the Obama took office, the republican members of congress have done nothing but continually snatch defeat from what would have likely been a continual string of victories. Believe it or not, it’s not the democrats on the left that actually makes me want to move to South America when I retire, it's the republicans. McConnell acts like a little school boy who gets bullied and runs home crying while Boehner is that jerk supervisor at work that always takes credit for the hard work and creative ideas from those who work for him.
