With a renewed Russian threat to assemble a new “Axis of Evil”, we have to wonder who would be the best candidate to support our country. John McCain believes in National Defense, and increasing the defense budget. After the Clinton Administration decreased our defense budget by 35% the attack on the Twin Towers happened, leaving us with a decreased capability to fight an Islamic war on many fronts. Barack Obama, on the other hand, wants us to give up our defenses while many countries seek to destroy us. He has concluded that Iran, Venezuela, North Korea, are all “small countries” and pose us no threat!
Vladimir Putin is on a course now to assemble a consortium of countries to secure Russia’s supply of oil, while in the same time strangling our country for supplies. Threats aren’t just physical, economic damage can hold us hostage too. Obama seems to have a simplistic view of foreign affairs, and that view will serve to hurt us. It wasn’t coincidence that had Russia invading Georgia, they have a pipeline of oil and they are a democracy, but of course Obama had 4 different positions on this invasion before actually deciding on anything.

I can tell you I am terrified. At this point, so is McCain, I feel like US in deep trouble. We can only hope for the best of the two…
we will become a third world country under Barack Obama, he has NO experience in defense, and he will give up every gain we have made after the end of the cold war!
why is it that republicans fall so head over heel for the propoganda that bush has fed the world for the last 7 years. to think of Russia as a threat is quite ridiculous. russia about to bomb washington, yea right. reagan democrat says " u.s will become a third world country under obama". i have heard loads of rubbish about obama, but this takes the cake. were you born without a brain, reagan democrat?
Actually Doug it isn't "propaganda from Bush" about the recent agressive actions in Georgia, it has been reported in the Main Stream Media, and it's very obvious where they lean. There is no question that Putin has taken a deadly aim to increase their power in the World. These items are not up for debate, even the liberal experts agree that Russia, Iran, Venezuala, and Cuba are creating alliances. You don't have to believe me because I say so, search this opinion online, my blog only had to do with if Obama is up to the task, not if it's happening.
