Biden Gets Stern Warning From Supreme Court Commission

Biden get s warning from his 39 member commission on the possibility of expanding the Supreme Court. Court Packing is what it’s called and it’s not a new idea, in fact Franklin Roosevelt tried it during his tenure. Roosevelt tried to increase the court to 12 to push his liberal agenda. It failed back then and was probably one of the leading reasons for the 22^nd Amendment to the Constitution, to limit the President to two terms.

This Commission comprises mostly liberal scholars, activists, and lawyers who have argued cases at the Supreme Court level, and they even viewed the idea of limiting the Justices tenure to 18 years rather than lifetime appointments.

The group warned Biden against increasing the number of justices it would escalate the situation.

It seems funny that only the liberals see a need to increase the number, they can’t to remember a time when the Democrats were a majority on the court. Much like natural Climate Change the political winds on the court ebb and flow, it would be wise for the Democrats to remember that!
