Where Has the Tea Party Gone?

Where Has the Tea Party Gone?

Al Ritter

For that matter where have all the conservatives gone? It seems that between Mitch McConnoll and Kevin McCarthy the Republican Party has lost its collective spine. Obviously the party had a spinectomy this past January when they took the stance of refusing to investigate the Jan 6 protest at the Capitol. Personally I would have liked to see that happen, I would have liked to have seen Nancy Pelosi’s part in that fiasco. Who ordered the police stand down, and how involved was the FBI and other agencies in using plants in the crowd to get Trump supporters wound up?

The old catch phrase of “Don’t Tread on Me” is merely a footnote in history now and 2020 was a sick and twisted cartoon of the meaning. Both sides of the isle implemented draconian mandates to not only control the people and trash the economy! Then as an olive branch to the country offered many “Covid Relief” packages that offered so many pork filled incentives that less than 6% actually went to people and business displaced but the Plandemic. No I didn’t misspell pandemic. There is clear and documented video one year prior outlining a SARS-cov-2 convention and what the response should be, hosted by no other than Bill Gates.

The fact is that both parties allowed the “Covid Relief” packages which in fact offered no real relief to the average American or the businesses they own.

These draconian lockdowns and mask mandates have never been shown to be effective and yet the same mandates were done in the Spanish Flu of 1918-1920. Have we learned nothing? People seem to think that these mandates are effective just through common sense, but they are wrong. There isn’t ONE Randomly Controlled Trial that says masks do anything, it’s even right here on the CDC site

I’m getting off topic so as Jen Psaki would say “let’s circle back.”

Both parties are guilty of trying to destroy our country last year. Neither can claim the moral high ground here, nor should they try.

What we DO need however is a return to Conservative Values to not only rebuild our country but rebuild our economy.

Because of my disgust for both parties at this point I am now an “Independent” which means I am beholding to NO party at this point and I’m proud to claim that.

In the next election I hope to see a proud Conservative step forward but until that time comes I am merely a spectator in this mad world!

Hope Ron DeSantis runs in 2024, he looks like the ONLY Conservative so far!
